Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized that special attention should be paid to areas adjacent to educational institutions, as well as access roads. Road services are updating pedestrian crossing markings.
Fire safety was discussed in the course of the meeting. It was noted that fifteen dry grass fires have been recorded in Slobodzeya District over the past week. The most notable incident is a fire at a sorting site near the village of Blizhny Khutor. Fire crews have been battling the blaze for several days. The President ordered a comprehensive inspection of wells to ensure their readiness for hydrant connections. Roman Ivanchenko reported that the delegation from Bendery paid a working visit to Nizhny Novgorod, where they exchanged experiences in education and housing and utilities. The head of Bendery will present at the President's request a report on the visit's results at a meeting of the PMR Government to share the information with colleagues from other cities in the republic.
The head of Grigoriopol District highlighted the continuing problem of providing heat to social facilities in the village of Teya. The boiler house serving the school, kindergarten, community center, and local administration building is deteriorating. All four boilers are unusable. Meeting participants discussed solutions and issued corresponding instructions.
Sergey Sokirka reported that the roof and bathrooms of the school in the village of Rashkovo are being repaired under the capital investment program, and the facade of the building in Kamenka is being repaired. Construction of a sports ground at City School No. 2 will begin this week, providing facilities for football, basketball, and volleyball, as well as workout classes. Improvements to Wittgenstein Park in Kamenka are also ongoing.
Viktor Tyagai spoke about the Dragon Boat Rowing Championship held last week in Rybnitsa. The deputy mayor of Dubossary spoke about the first-ever "La Vatra Izvoarelor" festival held in the village of Rogi, dedicated to the revival of rural springs. Roman Ivanchenko spoke about the youth music festival, which attracted approximately 1700 people to the citadel.
The harvest season was discussed in the course of the meeting. The first-stage grain harvest has been completed in Kamenka District. A total of 5548 hectares of wheat (with a yield of 51.7 c/ha), 614 hectares of winter barley (49.1 c/ha), and 2686 hectares of rapeseed (28.4 c/ha) have been harvested. 28253 tons of wheat, 1248 tons of barley, 1480 tons of lentils, 1577 tons of chickpeas, 2181 tons of rapeseed, 19 tons of tomatoes, 15 tons of bell peppers, and 6 tons of eggplants have been harvested in Dubossary district. The Buket Moldavii and Kvint grape factories have begun harvesting grapes. To date, 1402 tons have been harvested. The grape yield this year is lower than in previous years – 46 c/ha. This is due to late frosts. An extended meeting will be held soon to sum up the nationwide harvest results.
