The sanitary and epidemiological situation in the republic is unfavorable. 1851 cases of infection of Pridnestrovians have been identified over the past seven days. The indicator a week earlier was 1308. The chief sanitary doctor of the republic Natalya Beril stated in the course of the meeting of the Operational Headquarters under the President that the growth of morbidity is 41%. Childhood morbidity was also discussed. Before leaving for the holidays that began earlier due to the epidemic situation, more than two dozen classes and 13 kindergarten groups were closed for several days (currently 28 groups of preschool educational institutions are in quarantine). As for the morbidity among students: if we compare the last two weeks of February and the first half of March, a more than two-fold increase was registered (more than a hundred facts were revealed in March). It was decided from tomorrow to return to distance learning all students of higher and secondary vocational educational institutions, except for graduation courses, taking into account the growing dynamics.
The COVID laboratories of the republic were transferred to enhanced mode due to the increased volume of work.
The mechanism of confirmation at the border of the fact of vaccination of citizens was discussed at the meeting. The relevant departments receive inquiries from persons planning to come to Pridnestrovie from abroad. They ask if they need a paper certificate stating that they have completed the full course of vaccination against coronavirus. This attribute is required at this stage. The relevant information will be posted on the instructions of Vadim Krasnoselsky in the media and on the websites of the relevant services.
