Provision of medical facilities of the republic with medical oxygen is among the topical issues discussed by the members of the Operational Headquarters. The necessity is growing. It reached 11 tons per day recently. The capabilities of the main local manufacturer, the Moldavian Metallurgical Plant, do not cover the request. So far, they are coping with the situation at the expense of the available reserves, but they are running out. The issue of launching the Slobodzeya station remains open; as an alternative, the possibility of filling oxygen cylinders at the Moldavian GRES is being considered. Vadim Krasnoselsky instructed to study the possibilities of other enterprises of the republic. In addition, an opportunity is being sought to reduce oxygen consumption without harming patients. The analysis showed that in the RCH it is almost twice as high as in other institutions (27 liters per minute versus 13). There is an assumption that the installation of rotameters will help to correct the situation. The President instructed to work out the issue and, if necessary, purchase these devices.
Another topic of the working discussion at the meeting of the Operational Headquarters is the organization of the educational process. The Head of the relevant department considers it expedient to extend the current academic year. Vacation periods were lengthened, resulting in a three week gap. Part of it was covered by the compaction of the school curriculum, but it was not possible to fully compensate for the loss of study time. The suggested option is an additional week. The President is not against the extension, but emphasized that the increase in the study period should be within reasonable limits. They also talked about situations when the presence of a teacher at school is necessary. Vadim Krasnoselsky recalled that the ban was on the unreasonable stay of employees within the walls of the educational institution. If a teacher has an official need to use the material and technical base of the school in his work, then no one has the right to prohibit it, the President reminded.
They also talked about the upcoming May and Easter holidays at the meeting. The heads of state administrations and relevant departments were instructed to step up work on the improvement of settlements, cleaning up areas, including cemeteries and memorial complexes. It is possible for citizens to visit the burial places of relatives with the observance of the elementary requirements in the pandemic. It is recommended to organize Easter services outdoors.
This year, there will be no ban on the so-called May Day: the rules for staying in recreational areas are within the framework of the current legislation, the recommendations are standard in the context of the complex epidemiological situation.
