Minister of Health Kristina Albul said that medical institutions are fully provided with antiviral and antibacterial medicines used to treat coronavirus carriers, as well as personal protective equipment. She also informed about the availability of 18606 antigen tests. New receipts of medicines and related medical products are expected within 10 days. The President focused on the topic of public procurement, including in the healthcare sector, emphasizing that tender procedures should be carried out with the participation of specialized specialists who are able to correctly assess the quality and effectiveness of the purchased products. Vadim Krasnoselsky touched upon the issue of participation in tenders for the execution of state orders by exclusively conscientious, well-established contractors and suppliers.
It was noted during the working discussion that 5457 Pridnestrovians without coronavirus are in home isolation today, we are talking about the so-called contact citizens. The question was raised about the possibility of reducing the period of self-isolation, this period is 10 days now. Specialists of the sanitary and epidemiological station will have to formulate their recommendations in this regard.
The request of the sports community regarding the training in the fresh air was discussed today. If weather conditions and the specifics of the sport allow, such an opportunity is provided. It is also acceptable to hold public events in open areas in case of emergency. As for the current restrictions introduced before the end of this month, the Operational Headquarters allows them to be relaxed or canceled before the earlier fixed dates – in the event of a noticeable improvement in the epidemiological situation. Officials are closely monitoring the situation and will immediately respond to changes in it.
The issue of supporting entrepreneurs, whose activities were suspended during the next wave of the spread of coronavirus, was also discussed. They will receive government assistance. The President instructed the Government and the Supreme Council to form support measures with a clear indication of the addressees. The work to finalize the document is underway.
