It was noted at the meeting of the Headquarters that the incidence of coronavirus in July was higher than in June: the daily average was 33 and 22, respectively. The epidemiological situation is more favorable than it was at the same time, for example when 10 times more cases of COVID-19 infection were recorded per day in March. The mortality rate in July is slightly higher than during the pandemic as a whole: 2.6% versus 2.4% (the highest mortality rate among coronavirus carriers was in May - 5.5%). The lowest morbidity was noted among residents of Kamenka throughout the history of the spread of the new type of infection on the territory of PMR. For example, one case was recorded in June. Home treatment for COVID-19 was practiced there for the last time in May (four patients underwent a course outside the hospital).
Taking into consideration the outlined dynamics of increase in the incidence of coronavirus in the country as a whole, as well as in neighboring states, Vadim Krasnoselsky considers it expedient to temporarily limit the holding of ceremonial events in closed rooms that involve a large concentration of citizens representing various groups. We are talking about the celebration of departmental anniversaries with the invitation of a large number of guests for example. It is advisable to organize such meetings in comfortable open areas, the President emphasized. He noted at the same time that the cultural life of the Pridnestrovian society will not stop.
Discussing progress in vaccination of the population, they focused on the administration. The President considers it important to launch a single telephone line to receive applications from citizens wishing to be vaccinated against coronavirus, since this system will allow the work of the polyclinic service as such to return to its normal course. So far, the mechanism of telephone recording and counseling on issues related to COVID-19 has only been launched in the capital. Bendery, Slobodzeya and Rybnitsa will join it from the 5th of August. Republican coverage will be set by September.
