The leadership of the republic and the city along with residents and guests gathered to mark Tiraspol’s 234th anniversary they at the Memorial of Glory to honor the defenders who gave their lives for peace in this land throughout history. The PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky laid flowers at the Eternal Flame, monuments, and burial markers on behalf of the entire people of Pridnestrovie.
Led by the President the procession moved across the capital’s central square to lay flowers at the monuments to Tiraspol’s founders – Catherine the Great and Alexander Suvorov – as well as at the portrait sculpture of figures who played a significant role in the city’s establishment and development. This is an annual tradition in the celebration of Tiraspol City Day.
