The Presidential Program for Affordable Housing in Action

The Program for the construction of affordable housing for public sector employees initiated by the PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky is in action in Pridnestrovie. 11 houses were commissioned – 618 families purchased their own apartments with state support from 2019 to 2023. Another 12 residential buildings of various heights will accept one and a half hundred new residents this year. Seven houses with 218 apartments are planned to be completed in 2025. The essence of the presidential program at the first stage was the construction of residential buildings on the basis of long-term construction projects that have been idle for decades. This practice has been supplemented by the construction of buildings from the foundation. A ceremonial commissioning of an entire residential complex took place in the capital today. “Yug-3” is eleven three-story buildings in Mira Street (the area of Research Institute). Law enforcement officers and the Foreign Ministry, doctors, and representatives of other budgetary organizations received keys to 132 apartments. Speaking about militia officers, they are the most active participants in shared construction, and not only in the case of the “Yug-3” housing cooperative. This is already the 12th housing project implemented in cooperation with the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The PMR President congratulated today's new residents. Vadim Krasnoselsky said that children's laughter will be heard in these cozy and comfortable walls in the near future. This is the main achievement. The President said that this housing complex can be expanded in the future if there is interest.

The President expressed gratitude to everyone who was involved in the implementation of the socially significant project and presented state awards to the most distinguished.

The PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky and the PMR Minister of Internal Affairs Vitaly Neagu cut the symbolic red ribbon, according to secular tradition. Representatives of the Tiraspol-Dubossary diocese consecrated the housing complex. The honored guests inspected the new, not yet inhabited apartments.
