The Presidential inspection in Dubossary district

Vadim Krasnoselsky arrived in Dubossary district. The visit is planned – as part of the republic's populated areas inspection tour. The President met with the head of the local state administration Ruslan Chaban, discussed current issues of the district's life. The head of the government Alexander Rozenberg, his deputy Sergey Obolonik, the chairman of the city and district council Alexander Kolomytsev, the Minister of Healthcare Kristina Albul, the head of the Construction Department Yuriy Oleynik, deputies of the Supreme Council Oleg Bayev and Boris German, deputy head of the district Yevgeny Dabizha, representatives of construction organizations were invited to the off-site working discussion.

They talked about the involvement of Dubossary district in the state capital investment program. It was noted that over the years of the Capital Investment Fund, more than a hundred million rubles have been allocated from the fund for the renovation of Dubossary social infrastructure. "Small willow", "Thumbelina", "Little Red Riding Hood", "Rainbow", "Alyonushka", "Kolobok", "Golden Cockerel", "Stelutsa", "Swallow" - these are the names of urban and rural kindergartens in the Dubossary district, put in order over several years of the state program. It also included five general education schools, a correctional school, two sports schools, a music and art school, an industrial technical school, a stadium, a sports center for people with disabilities, a cinema, memorials, a park, more than a dozen playgrounds, apartment buildings. The largest Dubossary social and infrastructure project implemented through the Capital Investment Fund is the construction of a new rehabilitation center for children with special needs. A multidisciplinary sports complex is currently under construction, said the participants of the off-site meeting. The program included medical institutions – divisions of the central district hospital and the Doiban rural medical outpatient clinic. The delegation headed by the President visited the rural medical outpatient clinic of the village of Doibany-1. The building for it was built in 1968, all these years it was used, but not repaired. The medical institution provided medical services to residents of six villages of the district: Doibany-1, Doibany-2, Koikovo, Dubovo, Goyany and Novye Goyany. Reconstruction of the two-story building began in 2023 – the roof was repaired, the drainage system was updated, window and door units were replaced. They are working this year on the heating network, redeveloped the premises, and are undergoing internal repairs. The building is supposed to accommodate an institution for single elderly citizens in need of care and medical care in addition to the outpatient clinic. The project in this block for 50 people provides for rooms-wards with bathrooms and showers, an elevator and a kitchen area. They plan to put the facade in order and improve the surrounding area after the interior renovation is completed. The President, having inspected the facility, drew attention to what he considered to be an overestimate of the estimates. Vadim Krasnoselsky ordered a recalculation of the declared expenses and a report on the experts' findings. The President recalled examples of similar buildings being constructed from scratch with much lower costs of the completed projects.

Vadim Krasnoselsky inspected the progress of work at the central district hospital. The operating unit located earlier in Frunze Street was renovated. The infectious diseases department is being renovated in a separate building in Morgulets Street. It was built in the early 70s of the last century as a temporary hospital in case of the spread of cholera, which at that time was in the Caucasus, Ukraine and other republics of the Soviet Union. The building was designed with boxes to isolate carriers of the virus. It was used for its intended purpose during the coronavirus pandemic. Some repair and restoration work was urgently carried out, hot water was provided at the same time. The building without major repairs required serious attention. The roof, windows, doors were changed, faсade work was carried out, a drainage system was installed this year. The work will be continued. 

The President asked about the polyclinic building located next door. Its faсade and entrance group have been renovated, the windows have been replaced. The premises need to be renovated. The head physician noted the need to replace the elevators. The institution is in demand. The renovation will be done in stages.
