The presidential initiative on the inadmissibility of using the term "transnistria" in relation to Pridnestrovie was adopted unanimously

Vadim Krasnoselsky personally presented his legislative initiative to the deputy corps, equating the term "transnistria" with the concepts of fascism and Nazism. It was proposed to make the corresponding changes to the laws "On counteracting extremist activity" and "On perpetuating the victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945", as well as to the Code of Administrative Offenses. The relevant parliamentary committee supported the presidential initiative and recommended adopting the package of legislations in two readings in the course of one plenary session. The deputy corps voted unanimously.

Vadim Krasnoselsky thanked the parliamentarians for the decision taken, emphasizing that the people's representatives had done an important job. Historical justice has been restored and a serious step has been taken towards recognition of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic according to the PMR President.
