Delegation led by the PMR President visited the Military Historical Memorial Complex today, on the day that became Memorial Day for the residents of Bendery and all of Pridnestrovie. The President laid flowers at the monument to the defenders and civilians who died in 1992. A cross-shaped composition made of black marble appeared at Military Historical Memorial Complex in 2010. The opening of the monument took place on the Day of the Bendery Tragedy on the 19th of June.
The PMR President devoted attention to the grave of Bendery resident Nina Olari, who died on July 3, 1992 and was buried on the territory of the old Bendery cemetery, on the site of which the memorial complex was created in the 2000s on the initiative of Vadim Krasnoselsky.
