The key reporting indicators for Tiraspol. The city's population at the end of 2024 was 126306 people, 5% more women than men. More boys were born than girls at the same time: 428 and 400, respectively. Marriage registration began to decline. If 935 families were officially created in 2023, then 725 couples got married in 2024.
Budget revenues – 574 million rubles (9.5% more than planned). Of these, more than 522 million are own revenues. 90.3% of the planned expenses in the amount of 510.8 million were financed. 84.2% went to social payments (351 million).
General education in the capital covered 13813 persons who attended 57 educational institutions. 614 residents of Tiraspol became graduates of 2024 (we are talking about those who completed 11 grades or evening school). Almost 90% continued their education at universities. The coverage of children with special correctional education increased to 427 people. This is due to the opening of an additional building for preschoolers of municipal correctional general education institution No. 2. Financing of the education system from the local budget exceeded 306 million rubles. Revenues from the provision of paid services in this area amounted to 4.3 million. Almost the same amount was spent by the state on organizing subsidized meals for schoolchildren at the same time. 2669 students had lunch for free (that is, at state expense). 1244 – received free educational supplies for a total of 271 thousand rubles. Summer health vouchers were received by 738 students aged 7 to 10. One-time financial assistance was provided to the parents of 1302 first-graders (almost half a million rubles totally).
There are 21 cultural institutions in Tiraspol, which were attended by 544 people in 2024. Financing makes 24 million. Income from the provision of paid services – 3.9 million rubles. Half a million was spent on the purchase of equipment and office equipment, 176 thousand – on the purchase of stage costumes. 7 million was allocated for the repair of the City Palace of Culture. Additional education (musical, artistic, choreographic) covered 1634 students, 1235 of them studied on a budgetary basis. Tiraspol children took part in 103 international competitions and festivals, winning 280 awards. The city held 1317 events with a total of 194545 spectators.
Seven sports schools (more than three hundred groups) were attended by 3412 people during the reporting period. 30 sports are cultivated. 408 coaches and teachers are involved. Financing for 2024 exceeded 28 million rubles. Income from the provision of paid services is 1.1 million. The capital's sportsmen participated in 520 city, republican and international competitions. Work was carried out at the city stadium, ice rink, and swimming pool at the expense of the Fund for Capital Investments. The Municipal Unitary Enterprise "Sports Complex" Tiraspol "was created.
The summer health campaign was organized at the Spartak camp site in four shifts. The coverage of children is 972.
Manufacturing enterprises of the capital (excluding small businesses) produced goods worth 3.3 billion rubles in the reporting year. A third is the food industry, slightly less is light industry (27%) and electric power industry (20%), chemical industry - 7%, mechanical engineering and metalworking - 7%. Important: taxes of the industrial sector make up 96% of all payments to the capital's budget. In the entrepreneurial sphere 143 new facilities were opened during the year (20% less than the year before), 57 ceased operations (29% less than in 2023). 7717 individual entrepreneurs operated in Tiraspol in total. The city treasury received 47.8 million rubles as fees for patents (for comparison: 14.8 million in 2023). The city's route network is 29 routes (21 serve motor transport, 8 serve electric transport). 127 minibuses and 19 trolleybuses hit the roads every day. There are six transport companies in the city, including 270 passenger taxis. The electronic fare payment system has so far been implemented only in trolleybuses and electric buses serving route No. 23, said Ilona Tyuryaeva.
959 crimes were committed in the capital over the year, 949 were investigated, according to the report. 36 accidents were registered, in which five people died. 17819 traffic violations were recorded. Two hundred drivers were detained for driving while intoxicated. 161 people were deprived of their driving licenses. 49 fires occurred, as a result of which two Tiraspol residents died.
Speaking about housing and communal services, the speaker noted that the total funding for this area amounted to about 95 million rubles in 2024. Major repairs were made to the roofs and facades of 23 multi-storey buildings, the entrances of 27 buildings, and 14 elevators. Current repairs included replacing window units in 48 buildings, updating the drainage system and interpanel joints in 19 buildings, 6 loggia fencing, 32 apartment building facades, slopes, and tidying up common areas in 12 dormitories. 259900 cubic meters of waste were removed over the year. A baler installed on the sorting line (forms briquettes from solid municipal waste) was put into operation. The sale of recyclable materials obtained after waste sorting allowed earning 833 thousand rubles. 1670 annual plants and 8000 rose bushes were planted in the city. 7200 linear meters of drip tape appeared on the central flowerbeds. The head of Tiraspol mentioned the arboretum, noting that its area to be maintained is 6.2 hectares. 5242 people visited the botanical garden during the tulip blooming period, and 4349 residents and guests of the city attended the lavender festival. The amount of capital investments under the state program is 28 million rubles. This is slightly more than 55% of the planned funding. The Capital Investment Fund-2024 includes the State Museum of History and Local Lore, the city stadium and swimming pool, school No. 3, the Rachmaninov Children's Art School, the Orpheus Youth Club, the City House of Culture, and municipal correctional general education institution No. 2. The Yuzhny Park was laid out during the reporting period. The appearance and content of the Glory Memorial is changing. As part of the capital repair program for educational, cultural, sports facilities and administrative buildings, work was carried out for 11.2 million rubles (this is 71% of the planned indicators). The installation of 14 shade canopies in kindergartens was financed separately (1.1 million rubles).

At the end of the reporting part the head was asked questions and made proposals aimed at improving the work of the state administration and the city economy as a whole. The floor was taken by the Chairman of the Government of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Alexander Rosenberg, the city prosecutor Taras Badenko, and deputies of the Supreme Council, representing the interests of Tiraspol residents in the legislature. It was noted that constant control is needed from the head of the state administration in terms of working with citizens' appeals. The President emphasized that it is necessary not only to develop the city, but also to popularize it. He recommended paying more attention to the preparation and placement in the mass media of materials that will create an attractive image of Tiraspol – a modern city with a rich history. It is important to master a variety of Internet platforms so that information about the city founded by Suvorov, the capital of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, Tiraspol as a cultural center, the birthplace of famous personalities, the point of intersection of different eras and cultures is available to the maximum audience. It is necessary to change the approach to promoting Tiraspol as a place of interest to tourists. Vadim Krasnoselsky said that the primary task remains the creation of comfortable living conditions in Tiraspol. The President aimed to continue the renovation of residential, social and leisure infrastructure. He recalled that the "Catherine Park" large-scale project is being implemented. The next stage after the creation of the museum quarter is to put the embankment in order, which will become a connecting link of the large complex. Vadim Krasnoselsky named among the urgent works the reconstruction of objects on the territory of the Republican Clinical Hospital.
The President spoke about landscaping, recommending paying attention to oaks. This perennial tree is unpretentious, and the ancestors of today's Tiraspol residents preferred it. This is confirmed not only by the centuries-old oaks found in the city, but also by the leaf of this tree depicted on the coat of arms of Tiraspol, the President recalled.
Another topic that the PMR President touched upon is the development of festival culture. Many interesting and convenient sites for holding cultural and mass events in the open air have been created in Tiraspol. The festival season is quite long. This should be used, Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized. In general, the President recognized the work of the state administration of Tiraspol and Dnestrovsk as satisfactory based on the results of 2024. He expressed gratitude to Ilona Tyuryaeva and her predecessor, the staff of the state administration and everyone who works for the benefit of the Pridnestrovian capital and its residents.
