“Bow your head. The warrior-heroes who defended their native city rest here. March-August 1992" - reads the inscription on the stone, installed on the Alley of Heroes of the Borisov cemetery in Bendery. Flowers lay on the pedestal of the monument today, on the day of the 30th anniversary of the death of the defenders of the city. The PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky took part in the funeral and commemorative ceremony.
The leadership of the republic and the city, the defenders of Pridnestrovie, family members of combatants who gave their lives defending the Pridnestrovian people, military personnel, public figures, clergymen, residents and guests of Bendery gathered at the Alley of Heroes to honor the memory.
