Traditional spring voluntary Saturday works are held throughout Pridnestrovie. Labor collectives, members of public organizations, volunteers, active and caring citizens gather to put together memorial complexes, parks, squares, embankments, territories adjacent to various institutions after winter. Particular attention was paid to landscaping. The planting of perennials in the Catherine Park was completed today. There are planted seedlings of spherical catalpa, ornamental cherry and sweet cherry, weeping apple trees. Large-sized fir trees grow green near the building of the future restaurant. The final stage of large-scale landscaping work was the rooting in the area of the fountain complex of two mountain pines grafted on a trunk. The trees are native to Ukraine. The President took part in the improvement of the park area and he was told today that the seedlings are at least eight years old. The President took part in the voluntary Saturday works with his wife Svetlana Krasnoselskaya. The leadership of Tiraspol - the Head of the city Oleg Dovgopol and the Chairman of the local council Vadim Doni – contributed to the greening of the center of the capital.
Vadim Krasnoselsky asked about future plans. The President was informed that various landscape compositions will be formed annually on the basis of the formed array of perennial green spaces. The flower beds will be filled in the near future, so that by the May holidays their multicolored colors will decorate the park.
The President inspected the entire park complex. He paid special attention to the children's entertainment area. The amusement sector is getting ready to welcome young visitors. An unusual fountain is among the surprises. Its construction is at the final stage. The carousels and the children's race track are equipped and tested. Vadim Krasnoselsky noted that test runs should be repeated.
