Deputy Chairman of the Government Sergei Obolonik reported during the video conference under the President that energy supply in Pridnestrovie is normal. Gas supplies are ongoing. Households are receiving centralized heating. The heating season in line with established practice is planned to end after three days of outdoor temperatures at 8 degrees Celsius. Preliminary forecasts predict this will begin this week.
Deputy Chairman of the Government of the PMR Vitaly Neagu described the measures being taken to transition social institutions to heat sources other than gas. He reported on the on-site meetings and working sessions held to summarize the performance of the republic's city and district administrations. Heads of departments have been tasked with converting critical infrastructure facilities to solid fuel boilers. This work should be carried out during the spring and summer, without waiting for the heating season, emphasized Vadim Krasnoselsky. The meeting participants discussed landscaping and spring cleaning. The President recalled that the official date for the nationwide cleanup day is March 28, but this does not mean that the events should be limited to one day. It is important to involve not only employees of various departments and agencies in cleaning public spaces, but also residents of multi-story buildings and private homes in tidying up courtyards and streets. Deputies are responsible for organizing this effort. Regarding businesses, entrepreneurs are responsible for the proper appearance of building facades and adjacent areas, the President emphasized. Vadim Krasnoselsky considers it would be appropriate to include this obligation in permits for trade and other types of entrepreneurial activity.
The issue of cleaning cemeteries and burial sites was discussed. Repair and construction work should be carried out by specialized organizations, but citizens should be involved in cleanups, particularly pre-Easter cleanups, especially in rural areas, Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized.
