The President spent the first half of the day in Slobodzeya district. Accompanied by the heads of the local state administration and the city district council he inspected the progress of repair and construction work at socially significant facilities. Restored summer cinema was visited. Construction is almost complete, according to Vasily Tishchenko. The current task is to improve the surrounding area. Two million rubles allocated for this year will be spent on paving the park area at the cinema and parking lot with paving slabs, laying out flower beds, installing swings and benches. Construction and landscaping work will be completed by Children's Day. The purchase of specialized equipment for the cinema will require separate funding. It will take about one and a half million rubles. Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized that the name of the summer cinema facility is arbitrary does not reflect the full variety of events that are expected to be held at this site. The participants of the offsite meeting talked about the significance of the object and the correctness of the decision made to preserve, reconstruct and modernize it. They mentioned that the cinema building was built in 1950.
The park that was laid out would become a kind of connecting link between the cinema and the future sports complex in close vicinity. Work on the creation of a multifunctional sports facility began last year. Almost two million rubles were allocated. A similar amount is funding for the current year, during which the builders will have to rise to the level of the second floor. The first will house a gym, showers, locker rooms, and restrooms; the second will house administration, stands, a fitness room and a cafe. The builders say they are meeting the stated deadlines. The work is progressing according to schedule. The territory adjacent to the building will be tidied up and functionally filled in 2025: open sports grounds, a table tennis sector and a workout area will be designed, and running tracks will be laid. It is planned to cultivate four team sports in the sports complex: volleyball, basketball, mini-football, and handball.
The President visited with an inspection the village of Korotnoye, Slobodzeya District. The attention of the President was drawn to the medical outpatient clinic. The building of the rural medical outpatient clinic is 100 years old. The medical facility has always been in demand. Not only did the therapist receive treatment here, but there was a day hospital, physiotherapy procedures were carried out, and attendance by highly specialized specialists. The building of the medical institution was in urgent need of major repairs. The repair started last year. Financing – two million rubles. Vadim Krasnoselsky asked where patients were received during the period of major repairs. Space has been allocated at a local school. They expect to return to their home ground at the rural medical outpatient clinic by the end of April. The updated outpatient clinic will be equipped with 14 rooms in which they will be able to provide diverse medical care. They are ready, for example, a dentist is ready to welcome local residents to this site. There is equipment, but the pediatrician used to come to the village - there was no permanent specialist. They are waiting for personnel additions from among the graduates of the current academic year. The medical institution currently has nine employees. There is a staff shortage. The administration is confident that the problem will be solved with the creation of new conditions and the expected increase in wages for health workers. The reconstruction of rural medical outpatient clinic is considered a gift for the village’s anniversary: Korotnoye will turn 255 in October.
Another socially significant facility, the renovation of which the residents of the village of Korotnoye have been waiting for decades, is the House of Culture. The building with an area of 1600 square meters was built in 1967. As in the case of a rural medical outpatient clinic, the institution was not idle for a day, and its premises were not repaired. The window units were replaced at the expense of the local budget, then in 2022 under the Capital Investment Fund 2023 program, a new boiler house and heating network were built (the House of Culture was not heated for almost half a century). It took more than two million rubles to provide the building with heat. A big festive concert took place in the already heated hall on March 8. They say they haven’t gathered such a number of spectators for a long time. The hall is designed for 540 seats in general, but its maximum capacity is up to 1200 guests. This year, another one and a half million rubles were allocated from the local and republican budgets. The stages and auditorium will be put in order. They will try to preserve the artistic design of the cultural center – the sculpting on the walls and ceiling deserves attention. Vadim Krasnoselsky asked about the staff. The House of Culture has six creative groups and one sports section (table tennis). 75 people are employed – 45 adults and 30 children. Ten employees were employed. The team supported the functioning of the institution despite all the difficulties, and the thematic interior decoration of the recreation center in the village of Korotnoye for the holidays was repeatedly recognized as the best in the area.
There are no walls, but the site for construction has already been prepared – this is the picture at the site of the future temple in honor of God's holy prophet Elijah. Its construction began in Dnestrovsk. The President visited the city on his way back from Slobodzeya district. There is no church in Dnestrovsk, and local residents have repeatedly asked to build a temple. This issue was discussed during meetings of the President with Archbishop of Tiraspol and Dubossary Sawa and in the course of working meetings with the President. The project was developed by the diocese in 2020. Financing was provided by the Moldavian State District Power Plant and the Inter RAO company, which includes the station of Dnestrovsk. Vadim Krasnoselsky talked at the construction site today with representatives of the contractor involved in the socially significant facility as well as with the general director of Moldavian State District Power Plant CJSC Valentin Trubchanin. The President expressed gratitude to him, the board of PJSC Inter RAO and personally Boris Kovalchuk for the decision to take on the financial support of a project that is significant for the residents of Dnestrovsk. The construction will take three years. The participants of the offsite meeting said that it was important not only to build a temple, but to improve the area adjacent to it, expressing confidence that this place would be loved by the residents and guests of Dnestrovsk.
