Vadim Krasnoselsky discussed with Oleg Dovgopol progress in the implementation of a number of capital infrastructure projects. The meeting was offsite. The President and the head of the Tiraspol administration visited the site of the future Pridnestrovian State Museum. The Museum Quarter fits harmoniously into the architecture of the capital's central street. The main building has been built, roofing and facade work has been completed. The supply of gas, heat and electricity is ensured. Two of the three boiler rooms are ready. Projects for interior work have been agreed upon. The President was presented with a visualization of the placement and design of the exhibition halls. The meeting participants paid special attention to the issue of lighting organization. The President asked whether the accompanying premises, for example, a dressing room for visitors, had been thought out. The project takes into account such significant details.
Exterior work is also ongoing. The territory adjacent to the museum buildings – new and restored – is an important component of the exhibition area. The interlocutors discussed current issues related to its improvement and filling. The leader of the country asked about the future observation deck, recalling the need to improve a comfortable descent from it to the embankment.
The presidential inspection took place today at the city stadium. Repair and construction work is also going on there. Vadim Krasnoselsky was shown the artificial turf that had already been laid on the football field, noting that the grass would rise. The rest of the playgrounds are also being prepared for covering. Special rubber granules and three types of glue are prepared for them. The President asked about the timing of implementation. The project provides for completion of the current stage of work by the end of the year, according to Oleg Dovgopol. This is under favorable weather conditions. The deadlines will be shifted in case of bad weather, so that unjustified haste will not be detrimental to the quality of the work.
The stadium stands and related infrastructure will have to be put in order next year. It is necessary in addition to conduct an examination of the building. There is a high probability that its walls will have to be strengthened.
Vadim Krasnoselsky asked about the organization of parking space and about plans to install fences around the perimeter of the stadium and the intersection. Current instructions have been given.
