Meeting under the leadership of the PMR Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief was held at the meeting hall of the PMR Ministry of Defense. The President discussed with the minister and heads of departments of the defense department the issues of organizing the current activities of the ministry and the implementation of the peacekeeping mission. They talked about progress in improving the army infrastructure and providing allowances for military personnel. Vadim Krasnoselsky asked about the implementation of previously set tasks. New instructions have been given.
The meeting continued in an off-site format. The PMR President, accompanied by a number of officials, inspected the progress of repair and construction work at some facilities under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Defense. Infrastructural changes on the territory allocated for the placement of buildings of the Military Institute of the Ministry of Defense of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic are noticeable. The President was informed that the funds allocated for the current year have been spent almost completely. Construction is progressing on schedule. Vadim Krasnoselsky inspected the future training, casernes, officer and teaching premises, catering unit, and canteen. The erected four-story building is designed for 200 cadets. A plot of land has been allocated for a sports ground on the territory of the institute campus. A building for an indoor gym has been thought out. Utility networks have been updated. The checkpoint will be reconstructed. There are plans to build a small chapel. The eventual date for commissioning of the facility is 2024.
The President visited with inspection the Dniester Dawns health complex, under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Defense for several years. The object is active. Its phased reconstruction continues at the same time. A three-section dormitory building for 200 people is currently in operation. The condition made staying within its walls unsafe. Major renovations have begun. Floors, window and door blocks were dismantled. They are replaced with new ones. The power supply system has been updated. The building is provided with heat, which will make it possible to use the building all year round. The bedrooms will be located on two floors. The so-called ground floor is equipped with leisure and entertainment facilities. A fire alarm system is immediately provided.
The PMR President asked how the improvement of the territory of the health complex was progressing. 5 million rubles have been allocated for these purposes. Paving with paving slabs is 70% complete as planned. The President drew attention to the new generator. It is noted that one unit will not be enough to cover the total need.
The participants of the offsite meeting discussed further plans for the development of the complex. There are projects for reconstruction and re-equipment of several more buildings.
