The current issues of the life of towns and districts of the republic was discussed today. The President recalled that such meetings as, for example, meetings of the Operational Headquarters are held for the prompt exchange of information and urgent decision-making.
The President was informed about the progress in the implementation of projects within the framework of the capex program. The deputy head of Tiraspol Irina Olkhovik said that earthworks have begun on the territory of school No.18. Multidisciplinary sports complex will appear there in the near future, which will include volleyball and basketball, football field, an athletics sector, a workout area, as well as equipped locations where it will be possible to play table tennis, checkers, and chess. The President drew attention to the fact that sports complexes are being built in various settlements. They are identical in purpose and fullness. A comparative analysis of the cost of projects will be carried out. Vadim Krasnoselsky noted that with the commissioning of facilities included in the program of the Capital Investment Fund this year, work in this direction will not end: gradually equipped versatile sports zones will be established in various districts of cities and in small settlements. The locations of their placement need to be thought out today in order to plan further actions, the President pointed out.
The Head of Bendery informed the President about the progress of the improvement of the central part of the city. Currently, work on the creation of a pedestrian zone is being carried out on the territory of five blocks. The restoration of the road surface in front of the Transfiguration Cathedral began on Tuesday, Roman Ivanchenko said. The planned completion date for the Capital Investment Fund on the site from the House of Culture named after Tkachenko to Suvorov Street – September 2. By the Day of the city of Bendery, the square in front of the railway museum is among the objects subject to urgent improvement. The object located in the Solnechny microdistrict, public garden near the school should also be commissioned by the Day of the Republic.
The repair of the overpass located at the entrance to the city is under special presidential control. The President focused on the poor condition of the Bendery roads. According to Roman Ivanchenko, at the moment a patchwork has been carried out at a cost of 1.5 million rubles, about 13.5 million more are needed. The possibility of using the profits of municipal enterprises and attracting credit resources is being considered as a source of financing. Prime Minister Alexander Martynov said that the mechanism of additional financing of the housing and communal services system and road construction organizations is being studied. In his opinion, the inclusion of these areas in the program of subsidizing interest rates will allow using the resources of the banking system, which will expand the capabilities of state and municipal enterprises. The government is working on a relevant bill.
The meeting also spoke about the gradual withdrawal of the republic from the pandemic framework. The President emphasized the responsibility of the heads for maintaining a stable epidemiological situation on the ground. Human settlements must return to active life with reasonable care. It was instructed to resume the holding of cultural events in the open air, with proms to be held in the coming days. The heads are obliged not only to supervise the preparation, but also to take part in the medal ceremonies for the best graduates. We also plan to organize the celebration of the Day of Russia in the near future. All cities will host the "Candle of Memory" mass event, timed to coincide with the tragic date of the beginning of the Great Patriotic War. A complete list of thematic events planned for the summer, indicating dates, target audience, venues and teams involved, will be presented to the President.
