It is a traditional working practice for the President to hold meetings on issues raised during his inspection visits or discussion meetings in a particular city (district). The PMR President talked with residents of Kamenka and representatives of the villages of Kamenka district last week. Topical for residents of Kamenka issues were discussed today. Vadim Krasnoselsky said that based on the requests received instructions had already been given to assist in the reconstruction of the spectator stands of the October stadium and the equipping of running tracks, as well as in the improvement of the territory adjacent to the museum of the Hero of the Soviet Union Ivan Soltys and the provision of a bus for the needs of cultural and sports institutions of Kamenka district. They also talked about the stadium of the local technical school. It is located in close proximity to Wittgenstein Park. A project is being developed to create sports complex on this site, which will include mini-football, basketball and volleyball fields and other classic elements: a workout area, treadmills, tennis tables. The facility will combine a park and leisure area and an educational institution.
They discussed with the Minister of Internal Affairs the need to resume the previously operating mechanism of periodic (once a month) visits of specialists from the motor vehicle registration and driver examination division of Rybnitsa to Kamenka. They talked about the problem of providing services for the transportation of passengers by illegal immigrants, which creates unhealthy competition for conscientious entrepreneurs. Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized an important aspect is ensuring the safety of passengers in addition to the economic factor. It was instructed to strengthen control in this area. A number of questions were related to the prospects for road works in Kamenka district. A specially created commission will leave to assess the situation in specific areas in the villages of Valya-Adynke, Konstantinovka, Grushka, Podoyma, Kuzmin. The Minister of Economic Development said that the problematic section of the Rashkovo-Valya-Adynca road was included in the work schedule for the current year. Sergey Obolonik noted that not everywhere it is necessary to lay asphalt concrete pavement. Many areas are in need of blading operation. This type of work belongs to the category of care (maintenance), not construction and repair, and is financed separately. If we talk about Kamenka district, then about 45 million rubles are needed to cover the total need for grading, and the current budget provides for about half of this amount.
Another acute problem for residents of a number of villages in Kamenka district is water supply. Centralized water supply is not organized everywhere. Additional difficulties appeared at the same time. First, there is no water in the wells. Secondly, studies of artesian water show a high level of fluoride in it. Geological exploration is underway to find safe sources. Such is in the area of the village of Grushka, for example. The possibility of supplying this water to other settlements is being considered. The President aimed at continuing the search for a solution. In his opinion, targeted programs for water supply should operate. Moreover, it is important to separate the repair of existing systems and the construction of new networks. They discussed such an option as the use of river water in the future, for the purification and processing of which the construction of a special station will be required.
They talked about providing rural medical institutions of the region with specialists. Kristina Albul said that there are six residents of the Kamenka district among the graduates of the medical college who will receive diplomas this summer. The meeting participants noted that local administrations need to take measures at their level to keep young people, in particular graduates, in their small homeland.
Vadim Krasnoselsky recalled that the visit to Kamenka completed regular presidential tour of the republic. According to PMR President, his conclusions confirm the effectiveness of the capital investment program and the expediency of its continuation. The President noted that last week the Supreme Council adopted amendments to the Capital Investment Fund 2023. It is necessary to quickly conduct competitive procedures among construction contractors for objects additionally included in the program on the ground. The President emphasized that it is necessary in parallel to issue requests for the formation of the Capital Investment Fund 2024.
