Six units are being built and overhauled using funds from the Capital Investment Fund at the moment. The head physician of the Republican Clinical Hospital Igor Tostanovsky reported that roofing work has been carried out on the building of the chemotherapy department. The second floor of the cardiology department has been renovated. Work in the building will continue next year. The roof and elevator need to be replaced, and three more floors need to be renovated. The radiation therapy department is almost at the initial stage of renovation, contrary to plans. There are questions for the contractor. The construction of the food service department of the Republican Clinical Hospital is also delayed. The contractor has been replaced at this site. The new team fulfills its obligations on time, the President was told.
A large-scale project at the site of the medical campus is the creation of a simulation center and the arrangement of the hospital administration on the basis of the former therapy department. Work is progressing actively here. The readiness will be 80% by the end of the year. The facility is transitional.

The infectious diseases department of the Republican Clinical Hospital is currently being renovated. About 20 million rubles have been allocated, 4 million have been spent. The roof of the building is ready. It is necessary to purchase passenger elevator and freight elevator. The infectious diseases department has been transferred to the building of the Slobodzeya Hospital for the duration of the work. The freed infrastructure of the Slobodzeya medical institution may be used to house a psychiatric hospital when this unit of the Republican Clinical Hospital returns to the renovated building on the territory of the medical town. There are 200 inpatient beds of this profile are located in Vykhvatintsy, there is a department in the Republican Clinical Hospital, but both buildings are dilapidated. It is not advisable to reconstruct the buildings, experts consider. The issue of unification and relocation is being discussed.
