The President holds a working meeting with the heads of state administrations of towns and districts every Monday morning. The current state of affairs on the ground and future plans was discussed. Leaders of the PMR Government and the Supreme Council are traditionally invited to the discussion. This format of work allows us to quickly solve emerging problems, respond to new challenges, and make adjustments to work schedules. They talked today about the expediency of resuming funding for work from the Ecological Fund. Now is an important season for the improvement and landscaping of settlements, the heads emphasized. They discussed carrying out repair and construction work on the roads of the republic. The emphasis now is on areas that can be put in order without the use or with minimal use of imported materials.
They spoke in the course of the meeting about a bridge across the Dniester in the Bendery region. Until now, it belonged administratively to the Slobodzeya administration. It was decided to take the path of the territorial proximity of the facility to the settlement and transfer it to the jurisdiction of the state administration of the city of Bendery, which will be responsible for its technical condition and maintain it in proper condition.
Another object that will change departmental affiliation is the botanical garden. It was decided to transfer the arboretum from the Ministry of Agriculture to the Tiraspol State Administration. The President considers that this measure will help revive the recreational area. Vadim Krasnoselsky drew attention to the fact that bright and comfortable leisure facilities are being created in Pridnestrovie, on the site of wastelands and former dumps practically from scratch, and the botanical garden is a ready-made basis for a high-quality park location that no doubt will be in demand among local residents and guests of the city. The Head of the city administration has already visited the facility. He called the sanitary clearing of the green massif of the arboretum a top priority. Small architectural forms will appear along the renovated footpaths in the future. It seems expedient to equip a playground in the park.
The issues related to the holding of cultural events were discussed at the meeting. Public life must gradually come to life. It is important at the same time to prevent an increase in the incidence. The mask mode remains a prerequisite for events involving the accumulation of people in the room. The President called for the maximum use of open areas. Tiraspol will host a traditional April relay race dedicated to the City Day this year.
