The President held a video conference with the heads of state authorities and administration

The heads of state authorities and administration in the course of the conference call informed the President about the state of affairs in the areas they represent. The heads of state administrations spoke about the situation in towns and districts of the republic. The report on the situation in the energy sector of the republic was announced by the Minister of Economic Development Sergey Obolonik. General conclusion: the situation is regular, the supply of energy resources is at a sufficient level, industrial facilities have returned to the pre-crisis regime. Specialists will begin activities that precede the conclusion of new contracts for the supply of natural gas, the generation and sale of electricity outside the republic this week. Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized that he considers it right to study the issue in advance and conduct preliminary consultations. The President touched upon the topic of pricing policy, mentioning the statements of a number of Moldovan politicians about the allegedly high cost of electricity generated in Pridnestrovie. The MGRES according to the current agreements supplies Moldova with electricity at 73 USD per megawatt, while more recently the neighboring republic purchased it from Romania at a price of about 400 Euros, and the above-mentioned officials were not indignant at the unreasonable cost, reminded Vadim Krasnoselsky. The price is formed on the basis of exclusively economic calculations, the PMR President emphasized.

Another topic of the working meeting under the President is the epidemiological situation in the country. There is no coronavirus burst, but the incidence of acute respiratory viral infection is growing. 2560 carriers of acute upper respiratory tract infections were identified last week (2406 a week earlier; 6.4% increase in the incidence over seven days). 57.2% of the sick are children under 14, said the chief sanitary doctor of the republic Natalia Beril. She noted that 18834 Pridnestrovians were vaccinated in order to prevent influenza. The vaccine is available. In educational institutions, classes are closed for quarantine in case of medical confirmation of the disease in a third of the team. The President recommended paying increased attention to the condition of children attending schools and kindergartens. If there are signs of illness, the administration is required to measure the temperature of potential carriers of the virus without fail. Timely isolation and timely treatment will help to prevent the growth of the disease, the PMR President is sure.

Another important aspect, according to the President, is the temperature regime in educational institutions. Instructions were given to pay increased attention to this issue. We are talking not only about classrooms, but for example about school gyms and locker rooms. The President receives appeals from parents who note that it is cold in these rooms. The specialized services were instructed to conduct verification activities in all educational institutions of the republic. The gyms temperature regime that does not meet the standard indicators will be closed for preventive maintenance upon confirmation of the facts.

They talked about meals in school and kindergarten canteens. There are parental complaints about the taste of dishes. The sanitary and epidemiological station will check the menu for compliance with the standards and the list of supplied products on behalf of the President. Vadim Krasnoselsky drew attention to the fact that the current legislation allows the sanitary-epidemiological station to conduct such verification activities only once every three years. This restriction on guarantees of high-quality baby food is inappropriate, Vadim Krasnoselsky considers. Instructions were given to prepare a legislative initiative that will provide the sanitary service with the opportunity to monitor the state of affairs and promptly respond to incoming signals.
