The President held a traditional for the beginning of the working week video conference with the participation of heads of the legislative and executive branches of the Government, a number of ministries and departments, city and district administrations. They discussed current issues. The Heads of State Administrations informed about the progress in the improvement of settlements, the execution of the previously received presidential instructions, outlined the stage of work at specific facilities being repaired and built under the state capital investment program. 77 institutions at the moment are being put in order with the funds of the Capital Investment Fund. It was noted that financing for 127 million rubles is conducted now. There is a source to cover another thirty million. The current need is at least 181 million at the same time, said the Head of the Department of Construction, Architecture and Road Facilities Nikolai Obruchkov. The increase in expenditure is associated with the return to the program of previously sequestered objects. For example, there is a school in the village of Katerinovka among them. The ceilings crumbled on the second floor of the institution. It was not safe for children to be there. If the roof is not repaired by September, some of the students will have to be redistributed to other educational institutions or the educational process will be organized in two shifts in order to accommodate schoolchildren only on the ground floor, said Vladimir Bychkov, the Head of the Kamenka district administration. Vadim Krasnoselsky noted that the instruction to include the dangerous building in the program of the Capital Investment Fund 2022 has already been given, money for roofing and replacement of window blocks will be allocated this year.
Another object that the President drew attention to was the building allocated to the archival service. It is located in the Oktyabrsky microdistrict of the capital. Previously related to the infrastructure of the regional department of internal affairs the building will be used to store archival documentation of republican significance after putting in order. Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized the importance of preserving documents, which means creating appropriate conditions.
The issue regarding the activities of a structure specially created under the government, responsible for carrying out design estimates and tender procedures for the construction, repair and equipping of facilities under the jurisdiction of the ministries and services of the social block was raised in the course of the meeting. Vadim Krasnoselsky considers such a unit necessary, the effectiveness of its work will be assessed by the President after two to three months of operation.
They talked in the course of the conference call about the readiness of coastal areas for the beach season, open on the 1st of June. Landscaping work has been carried out. Rescue services are working. At the same time, Vadim Krasnoselsky focused on the need to pay increased attention to ensuring the safety of children in the water. He considers it expedient to fence off areas for bathing babies in shallow water, as well as to distribute temporary use of armlets for swimming if necessary. It was instructed to centrally purchase the protective equipment and provide rescue points on the beaches with them.
Discussing issues related to landscaping of settlements, the PMR President focused on the problem of boxwood (buxus) drying up. This plant is the second year subject to the negative influence of parasitic insects. Infected and dried bushes must be removed - not only so as not to spoil the appearance of green areas, but also to prevent the further spread of larvae, Vadim Krasnoselsky noted. They also talked about the advantages of vertical gardening of the urban environment. Designs with flower vases adorn many settlements. Local authorities are choosing a variety of design options and increasing the number of units of vertical flower beds. In Bendery, for example, 30 flower stands have been installed, and the same number are being prepared. The President considers it right to involve local entrepreneurs in this kind of design improvement, recommending business entities to ennoble the areas adjacent to shopping, catering and leisure facilities with flower compositions. Another important issue in the context of landscaping is the cleaning of dead wood and sawing off emergency and obsolete trees. The participants of the meeting consider the experience of Bendery successful, where two teams work: one on the city streets, the second on the territories of educational institutions. Such a division allows for a week to put in order a green area of an average of five schools, that is, by the beginning of the academic year, attention will be paid to all educational institutions of the city, said the head of Bendery Roman Ivanchenko.
The topic of road repair was not left without discussion. Specific areas where work is being carried out are named. They touched upon the issue of recycling the old road surface and using the resulting mass to create a new roadbed. The technology is being tested.
They talked at the meeting about the revival of social and cultural life after the pandemic downtime. The Heads of State Administrations spoke about holding various events for the Children's Day, as well as about festivals, promotions, and weekend concerts that have taken place and are planned for the future. It was noted that the intra-republican touring activities of state and municipal creative teams have intensified.
