The President held a working meeting

The President was informed by the heads of state administrations of towns and regions of the republic after the long May holidays about the situation on the ground. The situation is stable. Vital functions are provided as usual. The leaders presented detailed information about numerous and diverse events dedicated to the Great Victory Day – educational, cultural, and sports. Vadim Krasnoselsky thanked everyone who was involved in the preparatory work, emphasizing the high level of organization and implementation.

It was noted that many memorials and monuments were reconstructed for the May holidays of this year. Work in this direction continues. There will be much more updated facilities by the 80th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War. For example, the capital's Memorial of Glory awaits reconstruction. Oleg Dovgopol said that at this stage the names that will be carved on the memorial plates are being agreed upon. There was talk about involving schoolchildren in cleaning up the burial places of defenders of the Fatherland. This practice was intensified on the initiative of Vadim Krasnoselsky.

The head of Tiraspol informed about progress in road work in the central part of the city. The President recalled that the task was set to complete them before Republic Day. They talked about the Tiraspol stadium – old stands are being prepared for demolition. The construction of a museum quarter and the improvement of the arboretum was discussed. It is noted that the botanical garden does not involve widespread grass cutting, unlike the Catherine Park, since the object should not lose its natural atmosphere being well-groomed. The situation is different with Pobeda Park. They talked at the meeting about justified complaints from citizens about the lack of attention to him. The park was included in the Capital Investment Fund four times in different years, but due to objective reasons its inclusion in the state capital investment program had to be abandoned. The facility is one of the top priorities for inclusion in the Capital Investment Fund -2025. Returning to the issue of insufficient attention to grass mowing in the cities of the republic, the heads of state administrations voiced a serious problem with personnel in this area.

The heads reported on the implementation of the current capital investment program and other development programs. Each of them highlighted road work separately. Roman Ivanchenko touched upon the resonant topic of paving stones along Komsomolskaya Street in Bendery. Supporters of preserving the historical road surface argue with those who advocate ease of movement. Vadim Krasnoselsky recommended preserving a small area solely as a monument, and making the main body of the canvas safe and comfortable for citizens. Roman Ivanchenko asked to pay attention to the roadway along 40 years of VLKSM Street, emphasizing that the road requires urgent repairs.

Heads of district state administrations spoke about the implementation of a program to improve the areas adjacent to rural educational institutions.

The President asked about the recently purchased safety generators. It was ordered to check their readiness for operation and the availability of relevant specialists on site.

Vadim Krasnoselsky mentioned the completed Leather Ball tournament, emphasizing its massive participation and congratulating the most distinguished teams. The young football players of the Slobodzeya district played the most successfully this year.

The President gave current working recommendations and instructions, including those related to preparations for the Last Bell, Children's Day and graduation ceremonies.
