This year's winter is characterized by unfavorable conditions for the road surface: sub-zero air temperature at night and above-zero temperature during the day lead to the destruction of the pavement. The heads said road services are ready to begin repairs, but humidity does not allow it. The Rybnitsa asphalt concrete plant was launched in Friday, but they decided to postpone production until weather conditions improve.
Oleg Dovgopol touched in his report on the public transport topic. The discussion was about the inexpediency of renting practically empty trolleybuses. They are filled during peak hours only. The rest of the time they “transport air,” the head of the capital stated. He considers it right to give preference to electric buses in the future. Two of these have been running in Tiraspol since October 2022. Route No.23 is new. It was not in great demand primarily, but now it is already established and profitable, said Oleg Dovgopol. There is an idea to expand this route ring to include nearby villages. The vehicles justified the cost of their acquisition, the head noted, emphasizing that there are plans to purchase additional units.
Talking about the life of Bendery Roman Ivanchenko said that a tour through the city’s microdistricts had begun to determine the need for improvement. The projects will be developed based on the findings.
The rowing base dock is being repaired in Grigoriopol. Increased attention was paid to sports in Rybnitsa. They plan to hold the Moldavian Dragon Boat Cup in April. The issue is being discussed. The President asked how the implementation of his instructions related to the construction of the boxing school building was progressing. The project is almost ready. The facility is expected to be built by the end of this year. The school will be located on the territory of the Yubileiny sports complex.
Another topic that was discussed in the course of the meeting with the President was the preparation of healthcare camps for the children’s holiday season. Inspection services should not delay the verification. Vadim Krasnoselsky said that the conclusions must be prepared in May. The Dniester Dawns healthcare complex did not go without well-deserved attention. It not only functions as a children’s playground during the summer holidays, but welcomes adult citizens for sanatorium treatment all year round. The further development of its infrastructure was discussed.
The PMR President recalled at the end of the meeting that the heads of state administrations would have to report on the work done over the past year. The report will be presented today by Oleg Dovgopol. A wide range of officials are traditionally invited to discuss plans and results.
