The President held working meeting with the Head of State Administration of Kamenka

Working meeting with the Head of State Administration of Kamenka district and Kamenka was held at the presidential executive office. Topical issues related to ensuring the life of the district were discussed. They talked about the epidemiological situation. The incidence of COVID-19 is low in Kamenka and adjacent villages, and the cases of infection registered weekly are rare. The Infectious Diseases Hospital in Kamenka has been closed (it functioned from November 2020 to February 2021; the bed fund remained until the beginning of May this year). Residents of Kamenka who are sick with coronavirus are taken to the Rybnitsa coronavirus hospital for treatment now. The Central Republican Hospital of Kamenka is involved in the vaccination campaign: local residents are offered a choice of Pfizer (48 people were vaccinated), AstraZeneca (80 people were vaccinated with first dose) and Sputnik V (400 citizens are scheduled to be vaccinated with first dose by the end of the current day).

Vladimir Bychkov noted that quarantine restrictions are expected to be mitigated in the district in relation to cultural institutions in particular, as well as throughout the republic. The President noted that it is necessary to resume work, but at the same time emphasized that holding any kind of mass events is still possible only in the fresh air - in the territories adjacent to the Houses of Culture, clubs, educational institutions, as well as in parks and squares. The President recalled that there is a spacious recreation area in Kamenka – the famous Wittgenstein Park. A significant part of the meeting was devoted to its improvement. One of the main contractors, the Head of the construction company Victor Deleu, was invited to the conversation. The interlocutors worked out in detail the project for updating the park, discussing the location and implementation of specific locations, materials proposed for use, design subtleties, stages and deadlines for the implementation of plans.

Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized during the conversation that Wittgenstein Park is not only a leisure, but also a historical object, the revival of which pay tribute to the memory of the great field marshal, who liberated St. Petersburg at one time and won victories over the Napoleonic army, and also showed himself as a talented entrepreneur and business executive.

They spoke at the meeting about other socially significant objects being repaired at the expense of the Capital Investment Fund 2021 program. The President urged not to delay the execution of work, recalling that the season favorable for construction is limited in time. In addition, the beginning of September is a traditional reference point for putting objects into operation in Pridnestrovie.
