The President drew the attention of the heads of state administrations of cities and districts of the republic during the working meeting to the condition of the areas adjacent to urban infrastructure facilities and retail and service establishments. Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized the importance of ongoing maintenance, not just one-time planting of greenery or flowerbeds. Overgrowth of weeds and dead wood is unacceptable. It is necessary to monitor, issue regulations, and take more effective measures. The President repeated that if violations are systemic, municipal authorities have an effective tool in the form of non-renewal or suspension of trade (service) permits.
Yield indicators were another topic discussed in the course of the meeting. Following the reports of the heads of agricultural districts, Vadim Krasnoselsky noted that many farmers are reporting higher yields while the declared average yield is approximately 40-45 centners per hectare. This suggests that the performance of others is significantly lower. This raises the question of the appropriateness of allocating land to them. Some agricultural producers are alternatively underreporting their figures, which constitutes an economic crime. The President instructed the relevant agencies to investigate the situation.
The deterioration of roads used by heavy trucks was discussed. This problem becomes acute during the summer. Firstly, the temperature adversely affects the road surface, making it more vulnerable; secondly, the harvest season means increased traffic of heavy-duty trucks. Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized the need to install road signs limiting the tonnage of vehicles.
The preparation of educational institutions for the school year as well as all social institutions for the heating season was among the presidential instructions.
