The staff of the municipal secondary correctional educational institution number 2 in Tiraspol invited the President to a festive event dedicated to City Day and at the same time a housewarming party a year ago. The students of the educational institution did not change their address, but the conditions in which the learning process takes place have undergone fundamental changes. One of the buildings of the municipal secondary correctional educational institution, which houses six of the ten groups (about 60 out of 100 children), was overhauled and re-equipped, therefore the changes were made not for everyone. The PMR President promised that the transformation of the socially significant facility would not end there, and insisted on its inclusion in this year’s capital investment program at the same time. Reconstruction of the second building, built in 1953, is underway. Serious dismantling work has been carried out. The roof, window and door blocks, and partitions are replaced. The facade the seventy-year-old building will be restored this year. The work process was organized in such a way that the exterior work was completed in warm weather, and the interior work began in winter. The facility is expected to be put into operation in exactly one year – by September 1. Headmaster of the municipal secondary correctional educational institution number 2 Tamara Gikova told Vadim Krasnoselsky that pupils of the four groups are in other educational institutions of the city now, but they are really looking forward to returning to their native walls, noting that preschool children (and these are children with special needs) when they return, they will not recognize the transformed kindergarten – the reconstruction is being carried out globally. The project is essentially typical for kindergartens – groups, bedrooms, dining room. The specifics of the institution and the request of the team are taken into consideration at the construction and repair stage. For example, there is a speech pathologist's office.
The President inspected the territory of the correctional institution, drawing attention to the new shade canopies for the playgrounds. According to the head of the capital's administration, who accompanied the President during the inspection, these are standard designs that it was decided to manufacture centrally. They will be installed in all kindergartens in the city that need replacement canopies. Vadim Krasnoselsky supported this approach.
