The Orthodox world celebrated one of the greatest holidays – Christmas. Festive services were held in all churches of the republic. The Archbishop of Tiraspol and Dubossary held a service in the Cathedral of Tiraspol, named after the world-saving event – the Nativity of Christ. Vladyka Sawa addressing the parishioners called today's celebration the holiday of peace and joy, congratulated all Orthodox Christians and wished that Christmas and all subsequent days would be peaceful, and love would reign in their hearts.
The PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky was among numerous parishioners who arrived on Christmas night at the central cathedral of the Pridnestrovian capital.
