Vadim Krasnoselsky with his wife arrived today at a polling station located in Tiraspol, near the Church of St. Andrew the First-Called. The President together with other Pridnestrovian Russians took part in the vote on amendments to the Constitution of Russia.
Noting the large number of voters who came to vote, Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized that Pridnestrovians always take part in the electoral processes of the Russian Federation, demonstrating active citizenship and unity with the Russians.
Chairman of the Central Election Commission Yelena Gorodetskaya spoke about personal involvement of Pridnestrovians to the domestic political life of Russia. According to her, residents of the republic take an active part in the all-Russian voting despite the hot weather and only one polling station during all three days of voting.
Today is the last day of work of the polling station on amendments to the Constitution of the Russian Federation. Pridnestrovian citizens of the Russian Federation can express their attitude to the proposed amendments to the Basic Law by eight o’clock in the evening.
