Vadim Krasnoselsky, accompanied by the Head of the Tiraspol state administration Oleg Dovgopol, the Head of the Department of Construction, Architecture and Road Facilities Nikolai Obruchkov and representatives of construction organizations, visited the Aviators' Square of the capital today. Founded six decades ago and popular with local residents all these years, it has long required reconstruction. The necessary funds were allocated under the capital investment program this year. The work was carried out in the shortest possible time. The transformed object was put into operation on the Day of the Republic. The coating was replaced here – 8750 square meters of paving slabs were laid. Large-scale landscaping work was carried out. The issue of lighting was creatively approached. Children's play areas were equipped. The territory with free access to the Internet was provided. The plans include the organization of public catering outlets. In addition, landscaping will continue: a significant number of coniferous trees will be planted.
Vadim Krasnoselsky thanked for the work done, noting that the republic is confidently moving along the path of developing social infrastructure. The President set the task of eliminating all wastelands, long-term construction and landfills, creating in their place facilities that would make the life of Pridnestrovians more comfortable. The Republic is close to this goal. The interlocutors discussed the further action plan within Tiraspol. The Pobeda park and the botanical garden need attention. The design work is already in place. Their implementation is a matter of the next year or two.
