The President visited a number of sports facilities in Rybnitsa

The working day of the President was spent in Rybnitsa. The schedule included an inspection of several city facilities, including sports facilities. Vadim Krasnoselsky was accompanied by representatives of the regional administration – Alexander Tishchenko and Yuri Moldovsky, as well as the Head of the Department of Construction, Architecture and Road Facilities of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Nikolai Obruchkov and the Head of the Department of Physical Education and Sports of the Rybnitsa District Mariana Golovina. The delegation visited the Yubileiny sports complex. Vadim Krasnoselsky repeatedly visited this institution, personally supervised the process of updating the sports infrastructure, initiated the expansion and additional equipment of the training base. The work was carried out within the framework of the state program of capital investments. Funds from the Capital Investment Fund were allocated in 2020, 2021, 2022 in the amount of about six million rubles. Roofing, plumbing, electrical work was carried out, window blocks in the athletics arena were replaced, the territory was landscaped. The building in which gyms were placed was reconstructed on behalf of the President. There are two of them. There is a room next to the main one where fitness or yoga enthusiasts can practice. A separate room was allocated for physical education and leisure activities for citizens with disabilities for comfort and safety. Rooms for speech therapy and massage rooms were thought out. Vadim Krasnoselsky asked about staffing, was interested in whether locker rooms, hygiene rooms and latrines were thought out. All conditions are created.

The table tennis sector is located in the same building. There are six tables in the hall. They were moved from the arena, freeing up space there for more comfortable training in athletics and team sports. Wheelchair users can also play table tennis here. There is an entrance to the hall and a convenient entrance to the table. The President recommended to purchase a special machine that feeds tennis balls in the future. Such a simulator is successfully used in the Bendery sports and rehabilitation center, said Vadim Krasnoselsky.

The transformation of the Yubileiny sports complex continues. The construction of a mini-football field has begun on the territory of the sports complex. The money was allocated from the Capital Investment Fund 2022. Earthworks began. It was decided that the covering would be artificial. The size of the future field is 20 by 32 meters. Vadim Krasnoselsky, having examined the site, ordered to demolish the dilapidated buildings located along its perimeter in order to free up the area for equipping a children's sports and play area in the future. It was about the need to consider parking near the sports complex.

The President drew attention to the idle building located next to the reconstructed building of the Yubileiny sports complex. The building is old, is run by a local technical school and has not been used for many years. The PMR President instructed to inspect the hull and assess its technical condition. There is an idea to place a local wrestling and boxing school in this building.

Vadim Krasnoselsky asked about the progress in the reconstruction of the building of the former dormitory of the Rybnitsa technical school. At the initiative of the Head of State, the idle high-rise building is being converted into a residential building. A housing cooperative has been established. There are enough people who want to apply for membership in it, they told the President.

Another sports facility, the reconstruction of which is under presidential control, is a swimming pool. It is the main training base of the Rybnitsa Youth Sports School number 1. There is a bowl 25 meters long, 11 meters wide and 1.1 to 1.9 meters deep in a two-story building. It has not been repaired for about three decades. The capital investment program made it possible to rectify the situation. The old bowl was replaced, worn-out tile with a modern film coating – a liner that tolerates temperature changes well, is easy to clean and does not slip. New equipment was installed: modern systems for ultraviolet disinfection, electrolysis, control of water acidity and chlorine content, as well as high-performance heat exchangers and sand filters. The networks of internal and external sewerage have been repaired. More than two million rubles were allocated for the first stage of the pool reconstruction. Another seven million are needed to carry out a complete overhaul. Half of this amount was allocated from the republican budget this year. The funds will be used to clean up locker rooms, showers, as well as upgrade ventilation and power supply systems. These works will not require the suspension of the reception of visitors. The training process was frozen only for the period of reconstruction of the bowl. The pool is regularly visited by about 220 people now, which indicates that the facility is almost fully loaded. Opening times: from 6 am to 8 pm. The PMR President spoke with the school administration and the coach who at the time of the presidential visit was teaching young sportsmen.

The next sports location in today's inspection route of the President is the rowing base. Its infrastructure was built in the mid-70s of the last century. The administrative building, the dining room, the bathroom required a major overhaul. Some of the work was carried out in stages. The buildings are gasified. The systems of water and electricity supply, heating, sewerage and ventilation have been updated. Some of the windows and doors have been replaced. The repair of the roof of auxiliary premises is planned for the current year.

There were no sportsmen at the base at the time of the presidential inspection. Head of the regional Department of Physical Culture and Sports Mariana Golovina told Vadim Krasnoselsky that rowers from Rybnitsa left to participate in the championship of Moldova. According to her, the number of pupils has slightly decreased after the pandemic restrictions. There are about 120 of them now. The participants of the field meeting are confident that the renovation of the infrastructure of the rowing base will make this sport even more in demand than before. Vadim Krasnoselsky drew attention to the quiet backwater of the Dniester, which is great for classes with children and novice sportsmen. They discussed the construction of a boathouse, it is included to the agenda for this year. They expect to repair another building in the future, in which conditions will be created for strength training. Premises for repair shops are thought over.

It was noted that the infrastructure of the Rybnitsa rowing base is used not only for training local athletes, but city, republican and international competitions in kayaking and canoeing are held here.

The sports zone is also being improved on the territory of the Rybnitsa boarding school. Approximately 200 people study here. There were 13 general education classes and four special correctional classes in the completed academic year. There are 34 teachers on staff. The educational institution is more than six decades old. Prior to the launch of the Pridnestrovian state capital investment program, its infrastructure had not been overhauled. The dormitory building was put in order with funds allocated from the republican budget in 2019. They updated the systems of electricity, water, heat supply, sewerage network, changed windows and doors, put in order the premises of the bedrooms and the catering unit, installed new kitchen equipment. 2.6 million was spent on repairing classrooms and corridors of the educational building and a dining room in 2020. Engineering networks have been completely modernized here, window and door blocks have been replaced. The territory of the boarding school is also being put in order. The area in front of the entrance is paved with tiles. Funds were allocated for the improvement of the sports zone this year. Vadim Krasnoselsky examined the site of the future sports sector. Running tracks are being laid here. They will be rubberized and ring a grass field adapted for playing football. Further plans include the installation of stands and street simulators.
