The President spoke with the staff of the school-kindergarten in the village of Rashkov

The President visited the educational complex located in the village of Rashkov in the course of the working visit to Kamenka district. The school-kindergarten bears the name of the first director, the Hero of the Soviet Union F.I. Zharchinsky. Fedor Ivanovich headed the educational institution from the moment of its foundation from 1924 and until 1939. The original school building has been preserved. There is an idea to create a museum in it. The walls of the one-story building are strong, the roof will need to be replaced. They dream of placing expositions telling not only about the first head of the school, but also about the village of Rashkov in general, as well as about all the Heroes of the Soviet Union born in Kamenka district. Vadim Krasnoselsky supported the initiative. The project and terms of implementation will be discussed.

A more modern building of the educational institution was built more than half a century ago. It was designed for 600 students. One third of the capacity is full now: the complex is attended by 122 students (occupying the second and third floors) and 43 preschoolers (the kindergarten sector is located on the first floor). The PMR President was informed that the institution is an important platform for obtaining not only compulsory secondary, but also additional education. There is a sports hall with accompanying rooms for locker rooms, showers, latrines, as well as an assembly hall, combined on the same site with a dining room in the one-story wing built later. Workshops are included in the school infrastructure: a fitness room was equipped in this building, next to the technology and music classrooms. There are circles and sections of various orientations on the basis of the school. The demanded sports hall is in the process of major renovation. Roofing work was carried out over it in 2018-2019, the assembly hall and the transitional gallery, and the premises of the sports sector the area of which is approximately 150 square meters are now being put in order. The roofs of the main building and workshops are awaiting repair. The catering unit, the heating system, electrical wiring, the school yard and the entrance to the educational institution also need it. Another problem that the President was told about is the lack of latrines in the educational building. While indoor latrines are thought out only for kindergarten students, schoolchildren and employees use outdoor toilets.

The President requested all calculations for the indicated requests.
