Pridnestrovians celebrated Defender of the Homeland Day. This is an official holiday. February 23 is a day off in the republic. Festive events are being held at various venues in all towns and districts of the republic. Mandatory flower-laying ceremonies at the monuments and graves of soldiers who at different times gave their lives defending the Homeland.
The republic's leadership is participating in an official event organized at the capital's Memorial of Glory. The memory of the fallen and deceased soldiers and officers was honored with a minute of silence. The presidential wreath was lowered to the Eternal Flame. Vadim Krasnoselsky left a scattering of fresh flowers on stone slabs with the names of the fallen defenders and at the pedestals of monuments.
