The ceremony of presenting certificates for the state scholarship of the President of the PMR was held in the small hall of the Palace of the Republic. This is an annual practice. This award has been given to the outstanding achievements of Pridnestrovian youth – outstanding students, winners of sports and creative competitions, and active participants in public life since 2001. The PMR President awarded scholarships to 101 individuals this academic year: 29 university students, 49 students from secondary vocational education institutions, 13 students studying additional programs in art and aesthetics, three athletes, and seven schoolchildren who have distinguished themselves in creative work within their clubs. Recipients of the presidential scholarship include students from PSU named after Taras Shevchenko, Higher Art College named after Postoikin in Bendery, and the State Institute of Arts named after Rubinstein, cadets from the Tyumen Law Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the PMR and the Military Institute of the Ministry of Defense, alumni of the Olympic Reserve School, representatives of the College of Technology and Management, Tiraspol technical schools of Commerce, Computer Science, and Law, the capital's Agrarian and Technical College, the Dubossary Industrial Technical School, the Slobodzeya, Kamenka, and Rybnitsa polytechnics, and pedagogical and medical colleges. Scholarship recipients included representatives of children's youth arts centers in cities and districts of the republic, children's music and art schools, art schools, and school clubs in the supplementary education.
The scholarship recipients will receive monthly payments ranging from 388 to 746 rubles (depending on the category) during the 2025-2026 academic year.
