There is a medical department in the Internal Ministry structure, which includes a clinic, pharmacy, and laboratory. The Pridnestrovian militia medical service was created in January 1992. The structural unit changed its name, intradepartmental subordination and the number of staff units, but the essence of the activity remained unchanged – medical care for the personnel of law enforcement agencies of the republic and family members of militia officers. Modern realities require a new approach to organizing work. The healthcare sector is no exception. The clinic under the Ministry of Internal Affairs has updated the mechanism for registering patients for appointments. The Infomed electronic queue system has been introduced. This is the development of specialists from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. The waiting time for an appointment has been halved with the use of new technologies. Modern display monitors inform visitors about available rooms and in which of them a specialist is waiting for a particular patient. The regulators are registration staff. They draw up a medical record and send the data to doctors, eliminating the need to duplicate the patient’s initial survey. All this was told and shown to the President today, who visited the medical facility with an inspection.
Vadim Krasnoselsky asked about the directions of the institution’s activities and staffing of the medical service. The number of specialists increased from 17 to 33 people during two years. The list of services provided has been expanded. The laboratory was updated. Biomaterial research is carried out on site. Patients are informed electronically. The furniture and office equipment in the offices have been updated.
The PMR President discussed with the Minister of Internal Affairs Vitaly Neagu the possibility of changing the route of movement of patients at the clinic. The institution is located on the territory of the Tiraspol Law Institute, and visitors to the medical institution pass through the checkpoint of the Tiraspol Law Institute. Options for organizing a separate entrance are being considered.
Vadim Krasnoselsky paid attention today to the car exhibition organized at the institute’s site, demonstrating the evolution of vehicles for law enforcement and rescue services. New retro exhibits have appeared here. The upcoming organization of a large-scale exhibition at the Pridnestrovian State Museum was discussed, the Ministry of Internal Affairs is taking an active part in its formation.
