The PMR President arrived in Kamenka district. The purpose of the visit is to discuss the current state of affairs with the local authorities, inspect the progress of repair and construction work at social infrastructure facilities, and outline plans for further work. The capital investment program implementation was discussed. 25 social infrastructure facilities of the Kamenka district were included into the program during the five years of its operation. 32 million rubles were allocated from the Capital Investment Fund to put them in order. Work has been underway to restore and improve Wittgenstein Park. Funds were allocated to put in order buildings, premises and territories of urban and rural Houses of Culture, Houses of Children's and Youth Creativity, art school, boarding school, sports facilities. This year, the focus is on educational institutions. The program covers schools and kindergartens in Kamenka and in the villages of Kuzmin, Katerynivka, Rashkov, Oknitsa, and Podoyma. Accompanied by the Head of the district, Vadim Krasnoselsky visited rural educational institutions.
A fairly large school by rural standards is located in Katerynivka. 118 students are studying in it under the supervision of 22 teachers to date. This is the only school in the district that is not combined with a kindergarten. You can get an art education there in addition to compulsory secondary education. There is also a division of the sports school. There is an opportunity to attend optional classes in six areas, there are courses, afterschool groups, individual classes. The President was informed that two-thirds of the students are with rating good and excellent. At the same time, the assessment of school infrastructure is far from satisfactory, but there are improvements. The replacement of the roof of both buildings is being completed. Approximately 2.3 million rubles were allocated. The sports hall has been renovated – the largest of the school ones. The fence of the educational institution has been updated. It is necessary to repair the facade and interior, especially the second floor, the President was told. It turned out when carrying out roofing work that the wooden beams had fallen into disrepair. The assembly hall was closed due to its accident rate. The President instructed to calculate the estimated costs, recalling the principle of implementing the capital investment program: facilities must be brought into proper condition in full. The school staff especially focused among the problems identified in the conversation with Vadim Krasnoselsky on the internal bathroom that was not functioning for technical reasons and the state of the catering unit located in an adapted room. 660000 rubles have already been allocated for these purposes. The President asked what year the school buildings were built. It turned out that it was built in 1950. The prospects for paving the school yard with paving slabs were discussed. The Alley of Heroes was designed on the territory of the educational institution – rose bushes were planted, each of which has a sign with the name of a WWII participant who did not return from the front. There are 418 names totally. Vadim Krasnoselsky said that he had been here with his family, citing the residents of Katerinovka as an example – as patriots who honor the memory of their ancestors and respect history. There are name plates reminiscent of the defenders of Pridnestrovie, participants in the Afghan war and liquidators of the consequences of the accident at the Chernobyl station in the neighborhood. All of them were from Katerynivka. When a new memorial rose bush is planted, the earth must be brought from the yard near the house where the hero lived, and the water for the first irrigation – from the well that the defender used during his lifetime. High school students take care of the alley, and the villagers come here, as if to a memorial, to honor the memory of relatives and countrymen.
The presidential inspection of Kamenka district continued.
