The Head of the Union of Industrialists, Agrarians and Entrepreneurs of Pridnestrovie Yuri Cheban was awarded the Order of Merit, I degree for many years of conscientious work, high organizational and professional abilities. The corresponding decree was signed by the PMR President on January 14 this year. The PMR President personally presented the order today. The award is dedicated to the 65th anniversary of Yuri Cheban. The ceremony took place at the site of the Union of Industrialists, Agrarians and Entrepreneurs of Pridnestrovie. Numerous guests arrived to congratulate the hero of the day, including the First President of the PMR Igor Smirnov, heads of state authorities and administration, ministries, departments, public organizations and leading industrial enterprises of the republic.
Vadim Krasnoselsky noted congratulating the birthday person that Yuri Cheban has rich experience in managing both state and public structures. The President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic emphasized the importance of the activities of the organizations headed today by Yuri Cheban – the Union of Industrialists, Agrarians and Entrepreneurs of Pridnestrovie and the All-Pridnestrovian People's Forum. He spoke about the industry of Pridnestrovie, preserved and constantly developing thanks to the effective cooperation between business and the state. Vadim Krasnoselsky considers the Union of Industrialists, Agrarians and Entrepreneurs and in particular its leader Yuri Cheban to be an important link in this fruitful interaction.
