The PMR President visited the local history museum of Pridnestrovie. New halls have been opened.

The local history museum creation that will unite all eras of Pridnestrovian history and spheres of life of Pridnestrovian society is the initiative of the President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Vadim Krasnoselsky. The capital became the location of the state museum at his insistence. The existing infrastructure of the United Museum of Tiraspol, which was expanded by constructing an additional building and designing open exhibition areas, was taken as a basis. A hall dedicated to the Great Patriotic War was decorated in May for the 80th anniversary of the Victory. Its filling and technical equipment continued after the official opening. The opening of a thematic sector dedicated to the formation and development of Pridnestrovian statehood from the prerequisites for the creation of the republic to the present day was timed to coincide with the 35th anniversary of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. The halls are ready, in which exhibits are presented, illustrating the life of Pridnestrovians in the post-war Soviet period, as well as telling about the participation of Pridnestrovian servicemen in the Afghan war. The exposition of the renovated house-museum of our fellow countryman Academician Zelinsky has become more saturated and diverse. These halls are waiting for guests to help them better understand the history of Pridnestrovie. The work continues. Reconstruction of the premises, replenishment of funds, updating of expositions will be carried out in other blocks of the museum complex. The implementation of the project is under the personal control of the President. Vadim Krasnoselsky was today among the honored guests, for whom the first excursion through the open halls was held.
