The results of the Republican competition of social projects for grants from the PMR President have been summed up. About sixty requests were received this year. 25 applications were recognized as corresponding to the competitive conditions. Funding in the amount of 3 million rubles is provided for the implementation of the winning projects. Non-profit organizations and initiative groups of citizens whose activities are social, charitable, cultural, educational, spiritual, educational, scientific, aimed at protecting health, developing physical culture and sports, and consolidating society are allowed to participate. Fifteen directions were offered for potential participants to choose from. A specially created commission, having studied all the proposals received, submitted to the President its recommendations on projects that deserve special attention. The final decision is up to the PMR President.
Vadim Krasnoselsky determined the winners today. The projects declared in such nominations as "Preservation of Traditions, Historical Heritage", "Public Health, Physical Culture and Sports", "Public Security, Civil Defense", "Socialization and Civic Engagement of Youth" were recognized as the best this time. Presidential grants in the amount of 300000 to 800000 rubles will be directed to the implementation of the following projects: Archeology, Eternal Treasure, School – a Territory of a Healthy Lifestyle, Bunchuk, Football Heroes. Children's game football”, “Name on the stone. The Last Bastion" and "Volunteer School".
The President, expressing gratitude to all participants of the competition for their active citizenship and indifference, emphasized the social significance of the competition and wished successful implementation of projects. Vadim Krasnoselsky noted that among the proposals received, there are many ideas that deserve attention. Those of them that due to objective reasons were not among the holders of the Presidential grants-2023, may in the future be financially supported from other sources, included in state or municipal programs.
