Vadim Krasnoselsky appealed to the residents of Pridnestrovie in connection with the aggravation of the sanitary and epidemiological situation. He noted the obviousness of the third wave of morbidity, emphasizing that its feature is in the more active spread and severity of the course of the disease. Taking into account the high susceptibility to infection of older citizens, as well as the fact that the consequences for the health of older people are very serious, the President called on the residents of the republic to reconsider their attitude to personal protective equipment, as well as to minimize external contacts. The President asked elderly Pridnestrovians to stay at home, and their relatives to limit visits for a while. Vadim Krasnoselsky instructed to intensify volunteer activities.
The President spoke about the burden on doctors, which, while maintaining the current dynamics, may turn out to be unbearable.
The President called on all bodies of state power and administration to mobilize and at the first appeal of the representatives of the Ministry of Health to provide them with all possible assistance. Vadim Krasnoselsky called the emerging situation a challenge, expressing confidence that Pridnestrovians are able to accept it and resist the threat - without panic and speculation, and with the awareness of the importance of everyone's contribution, the essence of which in the pandemic is not to get sick and protect loved ones.
