Dear Pridnestrovians! Dear friends!
The complex controversial year 2022 in just a few moments will become a thing of the past, it will become our common history. Each entered his own line, page, chapter into it. Everyone without exception has something to remember, something to be proud of, something to regret perhaps. We all closely followed international news during the outgoing year, analyzing and empathizing with those who found themselves in the epicenter of the tragic events around us. The year 2022 once again demonstrated the fragility of the peace, proved that the main value is life. Pridnestrovie has been consistently striving for peace, security and prosperity throughout its history. It does not change this position even in the existing complex realities, continuing to conduct a dialogue aimed at the peaceful resolution of all existing and emerging difficulties and problems. I am glad that our multinational people are an example of unconditional friendship and peaceful creative life on the common Pridnestrovian land of representatives of various ethnic groups, nationalities, religions and cultures. We have always treated and will continue to treat history, the memory of our ancestors, and traditions – national and family – with sincere respect, deep respect, and close attention.
The family is the foundation of the foundations, the person’s support, the state’s support. The New Year is the holiday that unites different generations. Everyone strives to celebrate it in the family circle, in an atmosphere of home comfort and warmth, at the festive table. I am sure that all of you, like me, are now experiencing joyful excitement that gives the brightest emotions, hope for the best, faith in a miracle, love for life. Each of us makes cherished wishes, thinks about the future, makes good plans at these moments. I am no exception and I also think about the future, about peace, about stability, about self-sufficiency and about the recognition of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.
Dear friends!
I thank each of you: those who built and repaired, who studied and shared knowledge and experience with others, who raised and fed children, who fought diseases and saved lives in fire and water, who grew bread and took care of the Pridnestrovian land, who guarded the peace of citizens and ensured law and order in the country, who stood and now stands guard over the Fatherland. We all live by caring for our loved ones and the Motherland, for more than three decades, year after year, developing the republic and strengthening statehood.
I wish every Pridnestrovian with all my heart the simplest and most priceless things, what I myself dream of: health to you and your loved ones, long and happy years of life, well-being and mutual understanding, joyful work and prosperity, peace in the soul and around. Let this festive night as well as throughout the coming year be warm, light and joyful in the houses from the carefree children's laughter and happy smiles of loved ones. Do not lose the main thing – faith, hope and love.
Happy holiday!
Happy New Year, Pridnestrovie!
