According to him, 72 messages totally were received by the duty service of the Main Directorate for Emergency Situations on the night of July 29-30. The appeals of the residents of Tiraspol were mainly related to the fall of treesAbout a hundred subscribers were left without electricity for an hour and a half in the villages of Karagash, Chobruchi and Novokotovsk of Slobodzeya district. The situation in Grigoriopol region turned out to be more complicated. There were recorded 21 cases of falling trees and large branches. More than 1300 subscribers in Grigoriopol as well as the villages of Teya, Speya, Glinoe, Karmanovo, Gyrtop, Tashlyk and Kolosovo were disconnected from power lines. Five accidents on power lines were eliminated, temporarily over 2400 subscribers were left without electricity in Dubossary region. About a dozen complaints about fallen trees were registered in Rybnitsa. The roof of a private house in the village of Butuchany as a result of a lightning strike caught fire that was promptly liquidated by firefighters. The only message about a tree falling was received in Kamenka, but residents of some households in the villages of Khrustovaya, Grushka, Podoimitsa, Rashkovo and Podoima remained without electricity for a while.

The Heads of Grigoriopol and Dubossary districts spoke in the course of the meeting about the facilities that were largely damaged as a result of the strong wind. It is necessary to restore the roof of the Village Council in the village of Dzerzhinskoe (Dubossary district). More than fifty households were damaged in the Grigoriopol district. A specially created commission examined it over the weekend. A list of necessary restoration work has been compiled. According to the Head of the district Oleg Gabuzha, assistance to the victims will be provided at the expense of the local budget. Two objects require serious renovation. We are talking about the Grigoriopol high-rise building, as well as school number 3. The roof was seriously damaged in both cases. The replacement requires about four million rubles. The government has been instructed to find funds. The President emphasized that it is unacceptable to wait until the end of the parliamentary holidays to make appropriate adjustments to the law on the republican budget. It was proposed to use the mechanism of letters of guarantee so that contractors start work as early as possible.

Another topic raised at a videoconference meeting with the Government and Heads of State Administrations is the safety of recreation by the water bodies. It was noted that seven citizens drowned during the past week alone. The most common cause of the tragedy is being on the water in a state of alcoholic intoxication. The President instructed to intensify control measures, as well as information and agitation work among the population.
