Almost all deputies, headed by the Chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Korshunov, arrived at the invitation of Vadim Krasnoselsky to the Presidential Executive Office. The President initiated the meeting with parliamentarians to discuss issues of concern. They talked about the state of affairs in the republic and abroad, relations with neighboring states - Moldova and Ukraine, as well as about cooperation with the Russian Federation. Increased attention was paid to the work in the 5 + 2 format. The President focused on the results of the Permanent Conference on Political Issues within the framework of the Pridnestrovian Settlement Negotiation Process held on October 9-10 in Bratislava, noting the demonstrated by Moldova inability to negotiate. The President was asked about the progress in solving the problem of closing the accounts of Pridnestrovian enterprises by Moldovan banks, the probability of introducing a neutral driver’s license using the experience of neutral license plates, the potential disposal of ammunition with expired storage time in warehouses in the village of Kolbasna, gas transit and joint Moldovan-Ukrainian posts. In discussions with deputies, issues of the internal politics of Pridnestrovie were raised. They talked, for example, about the work of the media and the interaction of state authorities and Government. Social issues were discussed.
Concluding more than a two-hour conversation, Vadim Krasnoselsky noted that the dialogue with parliamentarians was important and valuable to him. “We are one team, we are doing a common cause, the goal of which is to improve the life of Pridnestrovians,” the President emphasized, urging the interlocutors for consolidation and fruitful interaction.
