One of the locations where residents of Dubossary hold thematic cultural events is the Energetikov Park. This place was in demand before, but it lacked modernity and equipment. The facility on behalf of the President was included in the capital investment program. The walking areas were paved with paving slabs, the park was provided with lighting. New lanterns, benches that now not only fulfill their basic functionality, but also fully comply with the definition of "small architectural forms", decorating the recreational area. The landscaping project includes playgrounds and entertainment areas, a children's playground, a stage, and a sports sector. Implementation is in progress. It was decided to revive a new field for team sports for the City Day. A sports festival was held here. The event was attended by the President.
The PMR President talked with the participants of the event – pupils and coaching staff of four Dubossary sports schools. It was said that the park is being transformed from a leisure zone into a sports center. The new grounds will be used as a training base. Although at the same time they will remain in free access for everyone who wants to join physical culture and active rest, emphasized the head of the Dubossary administration Ruslan Chaban. They talked about equipping the workout zone: the equipment has already been purchased and is ready for installation. The basketball coach noted the quality of the playing field. Modern tennis tables did not go unnoticed. Taking the opportunity, the residents of Dubossary asked the President to help cover the football field with a modern artificial turf at the central city stadium, similar to that on a park sports ground.
Vadim Krasnoselsky noted that work on the creation of sports infrastructure in the settlements of the republic continues. There are plans to build at least one sports facility per year in each city (district). It is important at the same time to take into account the opinion of users: objects must be in demand, which means that the profile and location must be determined based on public demand, Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized. The PMR President expressed confidence that there will be sportgrounds, there will be visitors – sportsmen or just fans of outdoor activities, children and adults.
