Vadim Krasnoselsky accompanied by the Head of Kamenka Administration and the Chairman of the city district council went to inspect the facilities included in the program of the Capital Investment Fund this year after the conversation with the leadership of the district and the deputies. One of the largest projects is the Wittgenstein Park. 7 million rubles have been allocated from the Capital Investment Fund for its reconstruction this year. The entrance to the park will be improved, certain areas will be paved with paving slabs, benches and urns will be installed, and the summer stage will be reconstructed with these funds. An important part of the work is the construction of a pumping station and the organization of water delivery from the Dniester River to the park ponds. The President paid special attention to them. He considers that the descent to the reservoirs should be gentle, and it should be shallow. This is a security issue. The bridges will be repaired and the steps on the hills will be put in order. Arbors will be installed. Today the location of the rotunda has been determined. Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized that the park infrastructure should be designed in a single style. The sports and play sector includes rollerdrome and playground. The old attractions will eventually be replaced with modern ones. There are plans for the next years to build a sports complex in the vicinity of the recreational zone of the town - following the example of those that have already been equipped in other towns of the republic.
Vadim Krasnoselsky considers Wittgenstein Park not only a social, infrastructural and leisure facility, but also a historical one. That is why special attention is paid to it.
Participants of the inspection tour spoke about investments in the development of the infrastructure in Kamenka in the course of the inspection. It was noted that more than 60 million rubles have been invested over four and a half years in the repair of state and municipal importance roads in the districts, approximately ten million in the provision of water to settlements, approximately seven million in electrification and gasification. A dozen educational institutions located on the territory of Kamenka district have been repaired (the amount of investments is 5.5 million rubles), five medical institutions (2 million), 12 physical culture and sports facilities (3.3 million), 16 cultural institutions (over seven million rubles) over the years under the Capital Investment Fund state program. This year, another 1.6 million rubles have been allocated to health care facilities, and 2.8 million to cultural centers. There is the district House of Culture in Kamenka among them. The President visited it today. General construction works are underway in the assembly hall, on the stage and in the premises of the second floor. A million has been allocated from the capital investment fund. At the exit from the building, Vadim Krasnoselsky drew attention to the exit: the slope of the ramp makes it unusable. The President instructed to redo the porch, stressing that when performing work, one must think about the people for whom social infrastructure facilities are being created.
