Vadim Krasnoselsky paid attention to the square in front of the building, leaving the Grigoriopol state administration, where the President met with the local leadership and deputies. The territory is actively used for public and cultural events, while the infrastructure has not been updated for more than four decades. It was named the Square of the Defenders of Pridnestrovie in 2017, which implies even more serious requirements for its appearance and livability. When forming the program of the Capital Investment Fund, the President insisted on the inclusion of this facility in the list of priorities. Today he watched the progress of the work. Old structures are being dismantled here, approximately three thousand squares will be paved with tiles. The entrance group is being reconstructed.
The Memorial of Military Glory is located near the Square of the Defenders of Pridnestrovie. The participants of the on-site inspection recalled the history of its creation. The President was told that "Grieving Mother" the basic monument of the Capital Investment Fund was unveiled in April 1969: the event was timed to coincide with the 25th anniversary of the liberation of the then village of Grigoriopol from the Nazi invaders. It was created with funds raised through several mass Saturday volunteer work. Local activists collected not only money, but also detailed information about those killed during the defense of Grigoriopol. More than three hundred soldiers are buried in the mass grave. Their names are engraved on thirteen granite slabs. The memorial complex appeared. There are portrait sculptures of Heroes of the Soviet Union, as well as memorial signs with the names of the fallen defenders of the PMR.
After putting the square in order, the central part of the city will look like a single comfortable complex.
Discussing progress in updating the social infrastructure of the district, the interlocutors noted that the emphasis was on the sphere of education in 2018: nine educational institutions were repaired, spending 6.7 million rubles; from the Capital Investment Fund 2019 for the Grigoriopol facilities, including two Houses of Culture and more than a dozen playgrounds, have allocated 5.3 million; in 2020, the largest and most expensive project was the reconstruction of the Vostok cinema (4.5 million), and the House of Culture of the village of Malaeshty was also repaired. This year 5.4 million rubles have been allocated under the capital investment program. It includes the central square, the city park, Grigoriopol school number 2, three kindergartens, as well as a combined sports ground, part of which will be a mini-football field, the site for which the President examined today.
The location of the sports facility was chosen in the central part of the city - the area between school number 1 and rollerdrome. It is assumed that the sports and games sector will be expanded in the future due to the construction of a volleyball court. Preparatory work is underway. According to the initial project, the mini-football field was supposed to be 38 by 18 meters. Today they discussed with the President another option – 30 by 50 meters. These parameters comply with international standards. If the proposal is agreed, the placement of the workout zone will have to be reconsidered. There are ideas for this. Calculations are in progress. The planned field coverage is an artificial turf, which minimizes dependence on natural and climatic conditions. The specialized coating of future treadmills will also be rubber. This will make it possible to use it, including for the professional training of athletes. The project has thought out the metal fencing of the object. A drainage system is provided. The start of general construction work is hindered by weather conditions - torrential rains, Vadim Krasnoselsky was told today.
"The Fairy Tale" kindergarten number 20 is among the objects that the President visited today. It is being repaired with funds from the Capital Investment Fund. A million rubles have been allocated under the state program. The facade is being updated. The contractor started work at the end of March. The color of the cases was chosen collectively. Lilac and olive are ready, they are preparing yellow and crimson for painting. The kitchen equipment was replaced in previous years. The surrounding area is completely paved with tiles. Considering its size and quality of the surface, the President suggested using the tracks to teach kids about rollerblading and cycling skills. Vadim Krasnoselsky drew attention to the heating main: the pipe is on the surface. The President instructed to take measures to isolate it. The work should be completed by September 1.
Vadim Krasnoselsky noted that the buildings of the institution are quite spacious, he asked about the number of pupils. Kindergarten is attended by 272 preschoolers. Four of the 14 functioning groups are Moldavian. The kindergarten staff consists of 69 specialists, the President was told.
