Vadim Krasnoselsky talked with representatives of local authorities and heads of municipal enterprises of the Kamenka district

Communication with core groups in Kamenka is among the events planned for the President’s working day. That is how Vadim Krasnoselsky called his interlocutors gathered in the assembly hall of the State Administration of Kamenka and the Kamenka district. Opening the meeting, the President noted that the dialogue with representatives of local authorities, people's deputies and heads of enterprises is extremely important for real picture of the situation in the region. Vadim Krasnoselsky noted the necessity to consolidate efforts to perform socially significant tasks.

The President spoke about some aspects of foreign policy. He spoke about relations with Russia, Ukraine and Moldova, emphasizing that Pridnestrovie remains faithful to the principles of good neighborliness and supports the continuation of the dialogue in any circumstances. It was also about the state of affairs in the republic.

During the meeting they spoke about enterprises for which Moldovan banks refused to open accounts and about Russian citizenship for Pridnestrovians. Residents of Kamenka, like all Pridnestrovians, are concerned about the gas theme. Vadim Krasnoselsky once again recalled that the fate of gas transit depends on the leadership of Russia and Ukraine, and not Pridnestrovie and Moldova. Vadim Krasnoselsky said that the discussion with the Russians about gas transit is systematic, and informed about the block of draft laws submitted to the PMR Supreme Council for the purpose of stabilizing and documenting the situation of Pridnestrovie in the gas transportation sector. The system is divided into three components - transit, delivery, distribution. The PMR President focused on the opinion that Pridnestrovie is distributing Russian gas to privileged categories of citizens. Speaking about gas prices, the President of Pridnestrovie emphasized that tariffs for individuals and socially significant institutions are maintained, while for legal entities a new 10% price increase is foreseen from the new year.

During the discussion, special attention was paid to the agricultural sector. Residents of Kamenka note that in recent years the district is ahead of other administrative units of the republic in terms of productivity. Improving the situation in agriculture is associated with state support - favorable credit conditions, tax benefits, reduced cost of water for irrigation, subsidies to milk suppliers. At the same time, agrarians are concerned about the likely change of the fixed agricultural tax with a classic set of taxes. The fixed agricultural tax was indeed introduced temporarily as a measure of support, the norm was repeatedly prolonged, but even today, according to agricultural producers, it is too early to stop it. Agrarians from Kamenka asked to consider the possibility of extending the fixed agricultural tax for another couple of years. They talked about subsidies to peasant farms supplying milk, noting that the amount of payment will become even greater. Another issue raised by the heads of rural administrations is the bureaucracy faced by owners of farms. In order to realize the surplus of products produced in household plots, it is necessary to collect an extensive package of documents.

The President said that the Government will be instructed to study these issues and find the best solution. Addressing the farmers, Vadim Krasnoselsky expressed gratitude to them for their work and contribution to the development of the country's economy, emphasizing the importance of agriculture for ensuring food security of Pridnestrovie. The potential of the agricultural sector of the republic, which, in the opinion of the President, has not been used to its full potential, has not been left without attention.

The interlocutors spoke about water supply, noting that the centralized water supply has so far not been organized in all villages of the district, and not even in every district of the city. Starting from 2017, work in this direction is ongoing. But there are still many administrative units that are not provided with water. A program for the water supply of rural settlements for 2020-2022 has been developed. Microdistricts of cities were not included in it. The President instructed to study this issue.

There are problems in the Kamenka district with heating networks. The representative of the profile organization said that starting the system at the beginning of the current heating season was more problematic than ever. Residents of Kamenka voiced their proposals. The President, after listening to the interlocutors, noted that a similar situation has developed in most settlements: communications have become obsolete and require urgent replacement. According to Vadim Krasnoselsky, the state has taken the path of global network overhaul, abandoning the practice of patching holes. It was decided to upgrade the systems in cities and regions of the republic one at a time.

The water meters theme was mentioned. The issue of paid service for the replacement of water consumption meters remains an urgent issue. The President, noting that at one time on this occasion they had already held meetings and giving working orders, said that he would request relevant reports in the near future.

Social services are another area that needs attention. Vadim Krasnoselsky was told about the difficulties faced by social workers. Receiving a salary that does not reach two thousand rubles, they serve 5-6 people each. This norm is spelled out in the legal act of the Ministry of Social Protection. The President is asked to support the initiative to review the list of services that social workers are required to provide to their wards, as well as to expand the staff of the local social service. It was a question of the fact that in the region live 330 citizens of respectable age. 160 of them are single. The nearest nursing home is located in Pervomaisk and is as full as possible. An attempt to register a resident of Kamenka district there resulted in a six-month wait. Residents of Kamenka are asked to consider the possibility of opening such an institution in one of the settlements of the region. The President, while not denying the importance and relevance of social institutions in which single citizens and people in need of constant specialized care would live, emphasized that the building is not a big problem. It is much more difficult then to ensure the full functioning. The Government will have to work on this topic in all aspects and report to the President on conclusions and proposals.

Concluding an hour and a half conversation with representatives of the Kamenka district, Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized that not a single question would remain without an answer and reaction. Assignments will be prepared and thematic meetings will be held. The President expressed his gratitude for their indifference and activity, urging to continue consolidated work aimed at developing the region and improving the lives of its residents.
