The PMR President was briefed on the status of heating supplies to residential buildings and institutions

According to information provided to the President, the heating season started without any force majeure. Two enterprises operate in this sector: the Tirasteploenergo municipal state unitary enterprise (serving the entire republic except Bendery) and the Benderyteploenergo municipal unitary enterprise.

Tirasteploenergo has 161 boiler houses (146 of which are automated) and 365 boilers (including three steam boilers). The heating network extends 434.66 kilometers: one-third are main lines, two-thirds are intra-block lines. It services 124 central heating stations and 16 individual heating stations. Heat was supplied in stages. Hot water supply was resumed on the morning of October 17. To minimize the risk of emergency situations, the temperature was increased gradually, from 6°C to 60°C. As a result, there were no accidents on the main lines, but one on the local lines, and fifty customer requests were received.

Heating systems were being restarted at facilities with 24-hour occupancy at the same time. Priority was given to 23 institutions, primarily medical and social institutions, as well as the Tiraspol Suvorov Military School. Heat was connected to their buildings on October 17. Heating was connected to kindergartens and schools, for which 90 boiler rooms were started on October 19.

Currently, due to objective technical reasons, there is no heat at capital’s Kindergarten No. 48 (a pipeline ruptured after the elevator unit) and at Rybnitsa's Kindergarten No. 4 (the heating system is being repaired).

It is noted that educational institutions in Kamenka are heated by solid fuel boiler rooms operated by the state administration. On October 20, heat began flowing to residential buildings and businesses. Work is proceeding as planned. The schedule is scheduled for three days. A two-week period is required for hydraulic adjustments. From October 19 to 21, there were nine failures on intra-block heating networks. Regarding in-building heating networks, from October 17 to 21, heating specialists received 2216 calls, 152 of which were related to emergencies.

Currently, 158 Tirasteploenergo boiler houses are operating.

Benderyteploenergo also launched its equipment as planned. On October 17, hot water and heat were connected at the Bendery Central City Hospital, the Republican Tuberculosis Hospital, the psychiatric boarding school, the orphanage, the rehabilitation center for children with disabilities, and the Bendery special boarding school. On October 19, heat was provided to 25 kindergartens and 17 schools in Bendery. On October 20, heat returned to all residential buildings, vocational schools, and social and cultural institutions in Bendery. Residents' complaints primarily were focused on airlocks and shut-off valves on heating appliances.
