The head of Grigoriopol district and Grigoriopol summed up the work of the state administration in 2023. The information was heard by the PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky. Oleg Gabuzha announced the main indicators for various areas of the district’s activities.
Local budget revenues amounted to 173.6 million rubles, more than 97 million of which were own funds, 41.7 million were transfers from the republican budget. 174.9 million rubles were spent during the year. Socially protected items were financed by 106 million 96 thousand rubles – 61% of the total expenses of the local budget.
The population of Grigoriopol is 37 thousand 606 people. 159 babies were born last year. 108 couples got married, 95 got divorced. There are 34 educational institutions in the region. 1290 children attend kindergartens, 2941 are schoolchildren.
19.3 million rubles were allocated for the modernization of socially significant, cultural and sports facilities: 12.2 million from the Capital Investment Fund, another 7.2 million from local budget expenditures. A major overhaul of the catering unit ventilation system and partial renovation of the interior premises were carried out at the secondary school in the village of Krasnaya Gorka. The fencing of the school grounds has been completed. A boiler room was overhauled with a complete replacement of boilers and heating equipment at the school in the village of Delakeu. The boiler room heats a kindergarten and a cultural center in addition to schools. A major overhaul of the heating system was completed in the kindergarten in the village of Malaeshty, and in the city garden “Golden Cockerel”, the kindergarten “Voynichel” in the village of Delakeu and the preschool institution “Zvezdochka” in the village of Krasnaya Gorka courtyards covering an area of more than 3.5 thousand square meters were paved with paving slabs. The Semitsvetik kindergarten was renovated in the village of Shipka: the roof, windows, doors, and heating system were replaced. They carried out a major overhaul of the interior, bathrooms, and strengthened the foundation. The overhaul of the House of Culture in the village of Delakeu continues. The interior, auditorium and dance halls, bathrooms were renovated, windows and doors were replaced. Renovation work at this facility will continue this year. It is planned to overhaul the foreside of the building and improve the surrounding area. The roofs on the cultural centers of Grigoriopol and the village of Butor have been replaced this year.
Work on developing the infrastructure of the Grigoriopol karting track continued in 2023. Capital construction of a complex for storing and servicing karts, training and administrative premises has been completed. Work on the construction of grandstand and sub-tribune premises has begun. Fences were installed on dangerous sections of the route and work was completed to fencing the territory of the karting track. Construction work on this site is scheduled to be completed this year. Three initial training groups have been formed at the Grigoriopol Karting Sports School. They train 30 sportsmen, including 5 girls. A paid service for renting karts has been organized and provided on the territory of the karting track, which made it possible to receive additional income in the amount of more than 300 thousand rubles.
The reconstruction of the rowing base has begun in the city. A boathouse was built to store boats. The main premises are being built practically from scratch. The main riverbed of the Dniester in the area of the future berth is being cleared and deepened. Construction work is planned to be completed by the end of this year. The President noted that the development of the karting track and the construction of a rowing base is an investment in the future. Children will always study there, Vadim Krasnoselsky is sure.
Repair and restoration work was carried out on the mass grave memorial for those killed in the Great Patriotic War in the village of Teya. They were carried out as part of the republican program for the improvement and preservation of burial places of Heroes of the Soviet Union, full holders of the Order of Glory and memorials of military glory of the Second World War.
Much attention was paid to maintaining and improving the quality of roads. Almost 17 million rubles were allocated for the development of municipally owned roads. Gravel roads were converted to cement concrete on an area of 12 thousand square meters. The cost of these works is almost 7.5 million rubles. Asphalt concrete instead of gravel was laid on almost 6 thousand square meters of roads at a cost of 3 million 741 thousand rubles. About 1.5 million rubles were spent on the arrangement of parking lots and parking lots. 1 million 520 thousand rubles were spent on the maintenance and ongoing repairs of 267 km of roads in villages and towns in the region. The maintenance of state-owned roads cost 12.1 million rubles. Using targeted subsidies, the bypass road around Grigoriopol was repaired.
There are 337 enterprises operating in the district. 2197 individual entrepreneurs are registered, 1049 of which are heads of peasant farms. 18 new facilities were opened in the field of trade and services during the reporting period. More than 4.5 million rubles were allocated for lending to peasant farms. There were 24 loans from 40 to 600 thousand rubles.
Five loans were issued to young families for a total amount of 500 thousand rubles at 1% per annum. Two young specialists received interest-free loans in the amount of 100 thousand rubles.
The income of the Vostok cultural and leisure center amounted to more than 1.3 million rubles last year. Almost 1.5 thousand film screenings were attended by more than 19 thousand people. There were 80 films of various genres at the box office. More than 7 thousand children and teenagers visited the center’s playground. The exhibition and sale “Pridnestrovian Souvenir” continued to operate in the center, where various types of arts and crafts were presented. The cultural and leisure center “Vostok” has become a tourist information point in Pridnestrovie since 2022. You can get free tourist maps, booklets and brochures about the PMR in the cinema lobby.
There are 134 studios in 19 cultural institutions in Grigoriopol district. They were visited by 1169 people. There are creative teams, 10 of them with the title “People’s”, 5 with the title “Exemplary”. 1624 events were held in cultural institutions during this time, which were attended by more than 90 thousand people.
About 500 sportsmen train in various sports at the Grigoriopol Children's and Youth Sports School: football, track and field and weightlifting, chess, freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling, judo, table tennis, kayaking and canoeing. Pupils of the sports school participated in 104 tournaments, including international championships.
Vadim Krasnoselsky commented on some of the topics voiced by the speaker and made a number of recommendations.
